Upfront medicals are usually not possible with a supervisor because the office needs their med request and UCI#
If you go to this link: Medical exams for visitors, students and workers: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/medical-exams/requirements-temporary-residents.html#when It says :

"When to get your medical exam
You can either get your medical exam before or after you apply.

Getting an exam before you submit your application
You have the option of getting an exam before you apply. This is called an upfront medical exam. To get one, contact a panel physician directly.

You can get one if you apply to:

visit (including parent and grandparent super visa)
work
study
Getting an exam after you submit your application
We’ll send you instructions on how to get your medical exam done. You must go for your medical exam within 30 days of receiving these instructions.

If you don’t follow these instructions, we may refuse your application."

Am I missing something here?

I did upfront medical for my mother's super visa application. All she had to do is to make sure the passport number she used in her application is the same she used in her medical info. After the test, she got a receipt that has UMI number in it with her passport number, you can attach that receipt as proof of medical if you choose the option that you've already used a panel physician to do a test.

I stand corrected. I apologize. I was under the impression that IRCC had discouraged advanced medical but looks like that is just for PR.

Hi,
Can you please share what exactly you did for "Mail sent to IRCC for faster processing"?
When I sent a mail to `IRCC.COVID-TravelExemptions-Exemptionsdevoyage-COVID.IRCC@cic.gc.ca` (included proof of relationship with a Canadian PR and other requirements), I got a reply saying that I'm not eligible to travel because I don't have a valid travel visa (expediting the application of which was the whole point of my request).
Is there a better way to request this?

Please help.

Thank you.

Hi there,
I have a question, when submitting copies of documents in online application, do we need certified copies ot just scan the documents and submit.
Please reply so I can submit my mother's super visa application.

I am applying for my mother and will go with upfront medical option, might be it could accelerate the process little bit. Just my opinion
I did so thinking the same. Medical got approved 2 months after application submission despite doing upfront. However, there's no processing movement since then.

What's your visa office? I mean your parents country of origin. When did you apply?
