I’m here already for almost 3 years. Met many refugees who are PR now even if they just arrived here. And I know LOTS of caregivers who already completed 24 months of experience who are still WAITING for their long overdue PR. Let’s face it, the ircc WONT STOP WORKING, but they give priority to someone else.
I got my PR approval in just 67 days. Outside Canada Applicant, applied in 2018 April and landed Canada in Sept 2018.

So, one thing is clear : each application is different... If an officer picks up an application and starts reviewing it, unless there is a problem, the officer will move it to next step. And this goes on for each stage.

Unless applications have problems, no-one wants to hold on to any application just for fun.

The minister already have stated that 2900 caregivers and their family members under HCCP and HSW are already approved in 2020...

So if something is holding your application, it must be something serious or requires further approvals/reviews at higher level.

I love it.... plain and simple...

I agree, plain and simple. I did not say that I applied for PR since 2018. I started it 10 months ago only. I am single applicant WITHOUT DEPENDENTS (it means I have less papers on my application) and IN CANADA applicant (that alone is already an edge). If you will think about it, my application is very easy to process (i have APPROVED tourist visa before, and ALL APPROVED three work permits. It means background check is not too difficult because my file is already in canada’s ircc system. Plus I was never married).
That’s why I agree with you when you said that once someone has many dependents or divorced and married again, they will set it aside and move to the next applicant. In my case (which is TOO EASY), why they’re taking so long?

Is it okay even if it’s not yet one year? The website says that it will take 12 months processing. I think I will try the gcms notes on October. Thanks for the suggestion
You can apply gcms notes anytime… so go ahead and apply ASAP.. you will get to know what’s wrong

Yes. My sister and me got our own insurance (it’s free. I have a BC health card). You just have to apply by yourself (it’s not your employer’s responsibility). Then got my own Sun Life insurance too. The employer won’t pay for your insurance. No one does (except if your employer is your relative).

Have they requested income verifications (NOA, job letters etc) from employer? Can you please advise date you have submitted updated forms via webform or mail ?

I saw a letter from IRCC it stated that they need updated letter and new offer of employment form. Did you sent that updated letter stating why your employer is hiring you? They should mention that to that updated letter to be sent together with the offer of employment.
