Hi @legalfalcon
I have two PR applications, one CEC EE other paper based pnp. All stages of CEC application are completed but for pnp security check is not started yet.
would IRCC make final decision on my CEC application regardless of pnp application processing or they would wait for pnp application processing to be completed? Though my first application was pnp.
Both applications will be processed individually. Once a decision on any one is made, the other will be canceled and closed.

Anyone else waiting inland for their decision? I don't know if I'll ever get a reply from them. I got a very rude reply from the IRCC client support today when I called them..

I am waiting for final decision, my application is simple and straight forward, no dependents nothing .. graduated, worked for one year and applied.. agent is like it's been just 4 months and you have two more months in hand to hear the good news... people who applied along with me has the good news and who applied after two months after me has good news..

Hi @legalfalcon,
Can you please help.
As a principal applicant, I submitted the new documents for my child(age 2 years) through webform. But I got a reply that I cannot submit documents for someone else as I have to submit representative form first to communicate for someone else’s behalf. How can I get the consent of 2 years child to submit representative form first and then send them the documents? Although I am the principal applicant and child is already in the application

Did you provide the consent of your spouse?

For minor children, the consent of Both the parents is required. Also, when you submit the web form, make sure you explain what you are submitting the docs for.

Is application complex? My application is very straightforward. Single, no dependents, inland (exempt from travel restrictions)... June 2020. Still no updates.
CEC inland with Dependents Inland, single company entire work exp and yes it is complex as per IRCC as they did not start security

Oh god. They haven't started my security either. Do you think they consider my application complex too? I have proven my experience in 2 different companies I've worked with all the necessary details. Even provided them T4s. Don't know what else they consider "complex"

If security is not started or pending it is complex. as simple as that . Forget about eligibility and other stuffs
If background check is in progress then it is complex as per IRCC website

Damn. That's scary.:( I just hope they atleast inform us if they are confused about something. From my perspective there is nothing complex in my application. Anyway, thanks for responding. With people posting their PR news, I almost felt like I was the only one left out.

I understand. Still there are few like us waiting . Spoke at length with my MPs team yesterday . Let’s see if something happens for me. On side note , they approved my spouse Open WP yesterday. They are not touching Pr application only

Hi Everyone,

I don't know what people working for IRCC do, but whatever they do, it is time for them to be transparent about what they are doing.
Today, one person called me and said that his application (CEC - PA+3 DA) was approved. It was only 6 weeks for him. His application is nearly identical to mine. Also worked in several countries and travelled the world before ending up in Canada.
I don't know why some applications go over a year, some of you waiting for even longer, and some Inland CECs getting it in 6 weeks, no he doesn't have any unique NOC :).
I wish all officers worked as hard as they did for this person.
