So so jealous. Once they decided to pick your file it is so fast! Is your oath in December too?
For him its urgent processing hence he has oath this month.

I've updated the spreadsheet. You've received DM. The only thing pending for you is oath now. Hope you get a date soon. All the best!

You'll receive it in a few days. Please post an update once you receive the test invite via email and once after taking the test. Thank you!

I applied for PR renewal in April as mine will expire this month and I never received any thing from them up to now. I am sure they communicate with each other and they will not process your PR application if you are in line for Oath. Just give it some time. You don’t need a valid PR card while you are in Canada, you would need it only if you are travelling out side to come back to canada.

Thank you.
It took around an hour and a half, we were 20 people in the ceremony . It starts with around 6 people with you to hear some instructions then they put you in a waiting room . When it’s your time you go to private room with officer to double check your address and PR and driving license. Then send you back to common room till every one is ready. Judge will welcome you and then do the oath and sing the anthem. Then you can ask any questions if you have and you can leave. The link to the ceremony doesn’t work from out side canada . Family member can join the public part of the ceremony through the same link. They ask you to sign the oath certificate and cut your PR and send a picture and a PDF to the email they sent the invitation from.
Hope that was useful.
Good luck.
Thank you so much this is very helpful. I have a few more quick questions hope you don't mind!

1). Does everyone recite the Oath together or the Judge makes everyone recite it individually one by one during the ceremony? Asking the question as because with all the families and different individuals how do they make sure Oath is recited properly?

2). Do we need to send the picture of the cut PR card or we cut it in front of the officer at the end of the ceremony?

Thank you!

1. AFAIK, all applicants will take oath together.
2. You'll cut the PR card on camera in front of the IRCC officials.

1- all people together with the judge, they don’t really hear any one because there is many people. No worries about this part at all.

2- you cut the PR card and sign the papers By your self after the ceremony and just send them picture of the cut PR and a PDF of the signed document.
Good luck.
