Hi, I am a Canadian citizen who is at the moment sponsoring my wife, son and adopted son. Just some weeks back, CIC returned their passports after they had been sent in for Visas tobe fixed on them. But when CIC requested the passports of my wife and son, they didn't asked for that of my adopted son but asked for an adoption judgment which was submitted within record time. In an email sent to me back in March, they said an interview will have to be done as they put it "to determine the good faith of adopting my adopted son" (my adopted son is my late elder's son who was born out of wedlock. She passed away in 2016 and later his father in 2019) and an agent will be sent to this effect to do the interview. I had written to them severally since I am in dire need to reunite with my family to know the date, time, and place of the said interview. But they emailed me saying due to covid19 restrictions, they can't send an agent for the interview. Around the 14th of july 2021, I received another email from them saying passports have been sent back because an interview is needed and that if they are need back, they will ask for them. My wife and children are in Cameroon now very worried and I had to travel in June to go visit them since the whole process was in a delay. I had submitted their documents since May 2nd, 2019. Now that they have returned their passports with the reason which I cited above, what will happen next? Can someone help me with this as I am almost in a state of psychological imbalance. And what can be the possible interview questions they might ask my wife as she is the principal applicant and me the husband and sponsor if they schedule an interview?
