I hope it’s okay for me to reply because I’ve been following Lisa’s case closely as we both got refused by the same VO. They had a full hearing in the beginning of March and got the notice of decision in the beginning of April. And a medical request today directly from Warsaw as I understood.
Yeah thats fine :) and today requested all new police checks and one form.
Pre-Arrival, request to renew some forms, and I suppose a new police certificate.
After that is done how long for passport request?

Since you received pre-arrival next step is will be PPR unless they will need new Police Certificates. I highly appreciate your contribution on this forum is great you always update us on timeline. My case is similar to your my eligibility has passed in 2019 but refused for misrep due to Pcc.

I just want ask during your hearing did win based H&C and hardship since your marriage is genuine? Did they talked about that?
@BRIL23 We used H&C on our appeal because we have kids and my health. You can PM me if you want to discuss more.

RPRF is NOT refunded if application is refused and appeal is denied.
From my understanding all fees are forfeited.

My apologies. I just realized if they've reached a conclusion or a certain point , you will not get anything back..
Right. Kind of a ripoff dont u think?
I mean if the applicant isnt allowed to land for any reason, the "landing fee" should be refunded.

That is so unfair to not refund the RPRF fee. So much is wrong with this system. I now believe that they don't care that families are falling apart, barely holding on and for some of us that still have the support of our spouses? Thank God. This is harsh and inhumane what they are doing to people. They want so much for all this waiting and some of the people that process the paperwork, no one cannot convince me that they are not wilful. I was kind of expecting them to asked for my brain so they can find the answers they were looking for. Stuuuuuupes

How can this be true? We got a 490$ refund DURING the appeal process. And I’m sure if you’re not gonna appeal you’ll just receive this fee back.
Perhaps it is their discretion to refund or not, in that case their website is misleading....
Too much about ircc depends on the whim of an officer, if u ask me.

Yes, we won on Compassionate and hardship grounds. Our case is a little different from others. From day one CIC NEVER doubted our relationship was not genuine. They just felt there was no urgent need for us to move back to Canada. That was the whole point of our hearing. CIC was trying to tell us where we should live. Which legally they can not do.

First of all congrats on winning your case.
I am appalled at their reason to reject. CIC needs to train their immigration officers better and teach them the law. Maybe then they wont reject people for silly unreasonable reasons.
