Canadian PR for kid born in India, parents are PR holders

I am a Canadian PR holder and my son was born in India, 2 years old now. I am currently in India and planning to move to Canada soon. What is the procedure for applying my kids PR. Is is possible to apply for a visit visa for him and apply the PR after reaching Canada.

You have to apply from Canada, so either you or your partner has to come. For the kid, not sure I am from a European country, so we all came back with the kid and he got a visitor visa for the period of time his passport expired almost 2 years... In your case I think you probably need to ask for a visitor visa before coming. The only issue I see is you PR renewal, if you were all that time out of canada with your kid and your kid is 2...

Are you compliant wit your RO i you've been out of Canada over 2 years. You must be compliant with you R\o and at least one parent must remain in Canada to sponsor a child.
