Hi, for people who got PPR and are waiting to submit their passports to the VAC, how long did you wait before contacting them via webform about not meeting the deadline? Its been about 10 days since I got the email and no change in VAC status. Also, if you did contact them, did you get a response?

Hey @DixvilleNotch, I sent a web form yesterday as it had been 10 days since I received my passport request. No response yet, but it's probably too early anyway.

Now its not showing on the list. what has happened and what am I suppose to do? its frustrating enough waiting for information on expired COPR. Now have to deal with this? Anyone facing this issue?

Hello,
So there's news that biometrics is opening soon for other categories too in VFS india. My question is people who have received PPR 2 , do we have to provide biometrics again and will passport stamping be done later or on the same day we give biometrics..last time both biometric and stamping request was done on the same day. I am confused here and would appreciate any help.
Thanks
Biometrics once given is valid for 10 years so you don't have to give it again.

I am outside of Canada @legalfalcon but I am exempt from travel restrictions as my initial COPR was issued before March 2020. Any other reason why and anything I can do to get it issued?
If you had already been issued a COPR, then you could travel. If you decided not to travel, and your checks expired, then your application will be re-opened, and after the final review is done, a new COPR will be issued. Since you decided not to travel and let your cOPR expire, you are no longer exempt from the travel restrictions unless you receive an authorisation to travel of new COPR.
