Idk how it works with other countries, but in Afghanistan it takes 20 days to get your PCC and has multiple steps to do so, first you give ur biometrics in MOIA, then they direct you to the MOFA, then they will tell you that after a couple of days you can ask your mom dad or relatives in canada to collect it from the consulate, they wont hand it over to you, also they charge 50$ american. Per pcc. And NO THEY WONT APPLY FOR YOU, they will simply ask you to get them the PCC and its your job on how and from where.!
2: your dependents arent exempt from medical Fee, they have to pay, here in AFG its 400$/person, but in Pakistan a lot cheaper but time consuming..

thank you
My spouse got the PCC in one day from MoI. I am not sure if the right procedure was followed. Nonetheless, the PCC was submitted to London VO 3 months ago and they haven’t asked to submit another version. 3 weeks ago they asked my spouse to do biometric and send other supporting documents like birth certificates, photos, etc.

My understanding was that if the person is in Afghanistan, why the PCC should be sent to Canada? They can translate it and endorse it by MOFA and simply send a scan copy to London VO?

Its very strange that your spouse got it ina single day. A lot of us had to go through multiple Ministries to get it and took us 15 days to do so. And they wont ask for an updated PCC unless it expires. I dont think its the Job of ministry, to translate the PCCs because thats what consulates are for in different countries. The only reason that it goes to multiple ministries is to prevent duplication/fraud as we have a good history in it.

Hi,
Is there an Afghan family here who’s recently processed their biometric and supporting documents kit in Afghanistan? Where they can get fingerprints and biometric in Kabul?
Also, how much time it takes to ask for medical and approval letter once these documents are submitted to London VO?
Thanks,
My husband just got his biometric done in Islamabad. It was smooth. He got it in one day and went back to Kabul. Tajikistan is suspending visa and flights due to increased cases of covid.

Did you send the file to LVO on june 2020? And are you a protected person? If yes its been a longtime, order G NOTES or ask you mp to intervene.

I have a question regarding my overseas dependents?
Does IRCC ask police certificate from everyone or some people ?

Please share your experience

*Everyone 18 or over.
lala jan I have a question which is bothering me a-lot
My dependents had their passport from before and they got it with old Tazkira (waraqaki) but they got their new electronic tazkira (Afghan citizen card) now on the passort the tazkira number is still old one which mean it dosent match with their new tazkira ( On the passport they mention ID number) is visa office will consider this

should I change passport or I should write an explanation
Please help if you have an idea or anyone

I am sure lots of Afghans face this issue who have passport from before.

Bro its easy!!! No need to change anything just send the old tazkira .!!! They accept the Old ones. If you dont want headache. If you want to yes you can send them both and explain that they got a new electronic one. But if i were you i would not give them the electronic one. As long as the name date of birth are matching with the old tazkira its fine..!!

I agree brother
3 months ago IRCC requested their birth certificate and tazkira while my application was in security check and and we sent new one now I realize that the difference - Maybe I have to send an explantation along with copy of old Tazkira or maybe After submission of their documents to IRCC i should wait if they ask me anything .

We both know they will ask, but if you could explain it to them before hand, that would be great. Just attach a copy of the old ones aswell and explain whats happening.
