I strongly believe that the processing times are better than before, I have met several people who have had responses after 6 months, 5 months and even 4!
I think the long processing times are for complicated cases, especially where there are security and criminality problems.
33 months maybe he is 2018 applicant or he applied for assylum or he has some problems but of course i hope that will have a positive decision.
he is a strong person
Yes she is 2018 applicant your correct
She never applied for refugee or PRRA
She was on visa
No criminality or security issues
She is single mom with a 9 years old son her husband was lawyer in Europe die in a car accident she move here since 2015
Her son was 3 years old

My point is here let’s make the story shorter they are people who waited more than three years still waiting it’s not necessary you will get answers 3 to 6 months my sister
85% ppl who got answers Less than six months they were refusal the only people who got approval in 1 to 4 months they could be their second h&c or previously they have a apply for a Refugee or Other!

All I’m saying beautiful sis be patient and you will get positive answers soon
99% you get Aip based on what you told me

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Ok if your Montreal office it’s means it’s with a officer
May I know when did you requested gcms note ?
over the last 6 years, my partner filed 3 appeals, 3 HCs and 1 PRRA. Every single file, except the last one, was transferred to Montreal and got rejected. Last HC I translated everything from French to English - I did not leave a single file in French!!! - and it got approved AIP by Vancouver.
Now I don't even let my partner talk in French to call center agents - English only!

I am not saying Montreal rejects everybody - I have personally seen much weaker HC cases than my partner's accepted (young students from OK countries, no kids/family, no job/business in Canada etc.). But we have been so traumatized over these years that I don't want to deal with Montreal BRO at all.

Last time March and came in April, and as I saw the last time they looked my file was november.
I have ordered notes this week again. Let's see if they change.
The good news is your application on H&c officer table but the bad news is your application On hold because of flight restrictions
The positive points they are considering your application otherwise it’s easy for them refuse overseas application

I know you’ve been through a lot but look at the positive point it’s over now you did a good job the moral of the story happy ending you won
You are a good example to some people or members don’t give up

sorry Ayanna, why does it depend on flight restrictions? I thought since we are in-land, flight restrictions are not a factor? Are they holding all applications until borders open?

I am a silent member of this group, thank you all for your encouragement and support. I read all your comments and l checked my H$C every day and for updates in this forum. Just yesterday, l got frustrated and l told myself that l will not check daily update and my application status every day but will wait for the next one month. I woke up this morning, I received an email from immigration that my application for PR and exemption for inside Canada has been approved. An email will.be sent to me for medical and to provide proof of employment or paystub and also pay $500 processing fee. Is this the long awaited AIP? My application status is still showing in progress.
My timeline:
  1. We received your application for permanent residence on October 23, 2020.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on November 6, 2020.
  3. We started processing your application on April 30, 2021.

Hi. Did u apply for a refugee as well? Im happy you got approved and Im planning to apply as well on best interest of a child ground. I hope you have time to reply. Thanks
Thanks, l applied for refugee, which was denied. 2 weeks after my H$C application was submitted, my judicial review for refugee case was dismissed. I applied for H$C based on child's best interest and medical issues.
