Hello guys,

My documents are complete for study permit but I wanted to ask you something. Is it necessary to submit all my documents to the ministry of foreign affairs to verify it before I submit it to the IRCC?

Im just asking to make sure, as it would require sometime to be processed and I don’t have much time. So what’s your opinion?

Thank you

Does the visa office in your country require documents to be verified by the foreign affairs ministry? This is the first time I have heard of such a requirement. Most applicants submit the required documents directly to IRCC as the appropriate bodies have already independently vetted them before.

No it’s not a requirement. Therefore, I’m asking as I know there is a lot of tricks and mistakes applicants might do. Thank you for your comment :)

You can check the document checklist on the IRCC website. Just search for (the country you are applying from name) visa office instructions for a study permit.
Nothing was mentioned in the check list. I’ve done a big research on that topic but found nothing. So I will call the local VO as a final resource. Thank you for your comment :)

Which country are you applying from?

I was curious about something, I've been traveling abroad and i never broken any visa rules or overstayed. will it support me in my application if i show the VO screenshots of my previous travel and how i respect the rules?

What screenshots are you referring to? You should attach proof of travel history (visas, passport stamps showing entry and entry dates etc). Not suer what you can provide with screenshots?

Sorry for the confusion, I meant scanned copies that shows previous visa stamps on my passport
