I did once after receiving the test invite. The instruction are in email, what to do if you are unable to give the test. I just sent an email(provide in invite email) that I am currently not in Canada and will be back in 2 months. and IRCC sent me another invitation after two months when I was back in Canada
Do not try to do the test outside of Canada. IRCC/CBSA have records when you enter or exit Canada. :)
Hi.

Out of curiosity, did they send the second invitation exactly after two months or did it take a long time after you were back?

I’ve asked to be rescheduled as well and they said that they will reschedule me after Mid-August 2021. It won’t be nice to wait another year to get the new invite.

Cheers.

Hey guys, I just took my test and got 20/20. I am worried that I took the picture of my ID incorrectly though. I positioned my ID in the green box as required but my body was behind the id (which as I understand is incorrect since I was not supposed to be behind). Has anyone else had the same issue and did you have to retake the test? Thank you!

Hey all,
After answering the first question, i realized that my email tab was still open. When i proceeded to close the tab it gave me a notification, did anyone experience the same and got his results confirmed? would this be of any concern ?
Thanks

As long as your ID is within the green box you are good to go.
The instructions provided are there as some people place their ID beside their face and take a screenshot (they dont want anyone doing that).

I also noticed that my email tab was open when I started the test but I didn't try to close it (I didn't want them to think that I was trying to look at another tab). I always overthink things, though, so now I'm nervous. Also, I noticed that I look pretty different from my PR card (different hairstyle and what I'll call "quarantine weight" :p). And I looked to the right of the screen a few times to see how many questions were left and then to re-check all the questions at the end. I just hope they don't think I was looking somewhere for answers. I guess it's back to the waiting game for us...

Yes me too, I forgot to close the email tab before I started the test.
Oh well, let's hope for the best.

Also, is it better to provide them a tentative timeline for return to Canada and availability for test? and is it possible that the date can be changed again ? is there a limit to how many times can the test date be changed?

I would really appreciate some guidance. thank you

You are not the only one in this situation. You have to email the office that is handling your application (you get the email address from that PDF file that they sent you) and say that you can't take the test because you are not in Canada. You need to tell them when you will be back because they will schedule a new date after you return.

You can check what I emailed them and what they responded to in the following post. This response came from the Calgary office. As you can see, they didn't reply to all my questions, but just said that they will reschedule me after Mid-August 2021, which the date that I said that I'd be back. I was also wondering how many times we can reschedule it, but I think they would probably be okay to reschedule it one more time as long as you have a valid reason.

Please share your experience there once you get more information, just to have an idea of what they will tell you and how long it will take. The Calgary office replied to me on the same day (4 hours after the first automatic response).

Hmm it seems that this is not unusual, then. It also sounds like the website can tell if you try to switch to another tab, so I think as long as you stay on the exam page, it should be fine!

How long is the wait usually for confirmation of test results?
