It's definitely criminality and finger print request would be sent. I have now seen the CSIS screening report and can confirm from my understanding that it's a fairly quick process if your file is clean and not complicated. CSIS processes routine citizenship screening requests at P2 priority which I understand is completed within 3 business days. On my paper application which is now withdrawn, CSIS responded within 1 day with the complete assessment to CIC. But obviously CIC didn't take any action until about a month from there(Action was simply updating Security as complete on GCMS).
Out of all the federal agencies I have dealt with here during the citizenship struggle, CSIS seems to be the most competent agency while obviously CIC tops the list for lazy paper pushers who are probably still enjoying their covid vacation.
Vacation is too lenient. Long term sabbatical it is......

Hello,

I am a newbie here, so please bear with me if this has been answered earlier.

Does anyone know if there are any subsequent checks after you have got your Citizenship test request or gettingtest request means that evrything is fine with your application.

Thanks

At worst, you may receive a fingerprint request

https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do - Select the agency

Turnaround time is less than a week which is phenomenal but I would recommend against unless your security has been in progress for weeks or months. There's nothing much in the CSIS notes other than the transmit date of your completed assessment. You should instead call CIC and ask if security is passed as apparently CIC is now redacting the security section in ATIP notes.

Edit: CSIS does not work on GCMS and won't provide you any other information related to your citizenship application.

Thanks. I have updated the name to reflect the correct name on the forum.
But the question here from the spreadsheet, out of 125 applicants having "in process" status, only 22 cleared BG check. Assuming another 50 didn't update, does that mean more than 50 out of each 125 applicant receive a fingerprint request?!!! i see taht as a very high portion of applicants. another question, shouldn't they have sent that FP request since Mid March at the time that bg checks started clearing instead of that long wait for another 40 days with no update?!! thank you

Don't underestimate the number of people that don't update. Also, there are a sizable number of people that don't know a new status dashboard exists.

Plus, there are several applicants (even from 2019) whose background checks are still in progress. Not all applications move at the same speed. It varies from person to person. Generally, if there are no criminality or security concerns, it'll move a bit faster. However, if there a deeper check needed, it might take a while.

Randomly thinking about time spent in Canada right now. Let's say 6-9-12 months later we're still waiting on tests. I'd assume they'd count the time in waiting? Maybe? I was way over, so no worries.
