Which type or brands of Covid-19 vaccination for students is accepted by Canada? As there are lot of different vaccinations out there introduced by different countries e.g. Chinese Sinoform or Russian Sputnik and Pfizer US vaccine.
Can anyone guide. Especially for Pakistani students travelling to Canada.
Thanks.

Canada is administering 1.Pfizer 2.Moderna 3. Astra Zeneca. As long you have been vaccinated whichever vaccine. It's basically to protect yourself from infections. Not sure if they will advise which Vaccine to take, You will have to take what's available in your country. I feel if they say they will allow only people with certain vaccination, that discrimination. Canada will never do something like this.

Ok got your point.. I asked this bcoz some countries only accept specific vaccine brands..anyhow thanks a lot dear!!

Always try to be on the safe side in my opinion. Canada have not implemented any plans on allowing vaccinated people to travel, but there is a good chance they will do it later or soon. If you have the option to get a vaccine that is already approved by Canada, then take the shot of that.We won't know until Canada comes up with such a plan, So again if you have the option then try to be on the safe side.

As someone has already pointed out Canada is not granting special permission to those have been vaccinated. Would personally avoid Sinopharm because the results don't seem that great. Sputnik seeems to be giving better protection than Sinopharm but it will be up to public health agency in CAnada to declare what vaccines they will determine are actually effective enough to be considered vaccinated in Canada. You won't get refused entry to Canada but there may be a need for additional injections once you enter CAnada.
