Also,I am guessing your VO is New Delhi? Can you confirm though?

It is valid till 4th Jan 2022. Yes my VO is New Delhi. Also I did not raise any webform after completing my medicals nor sent any emails.

Could someone please tell me after how many days your profile (express entry profile via GC key) got updated when you reply to "Do you still want to immigrate to Canada" mail? and after that within how many days you got the re-med application?

Also even though I didn't changed the subject of the mail when reply I noticed that Gmail has added "Re:" to the beginning of the subject. Could this be an issue?

My profile got updated 15 days after I replied to the "Do you still want to immigrate to Canada" email and I got the re-med request a day later.

I think you should be fine if you got acknowledgement for your reply.

Urgent need to travel to start employment

Hi all,

I got the email on April 20th. Now the application status changed to submitted by end of April. Awaiting re-medicals request.

But I have a job offer with start date in the first half of July. Is it possible for me to communicate my start date of employment to them to expedite any further processes involved in reissuance of COPR

- I do plan on raising a webform attaching the offer letter with the joining date.
- Apart from that is there an option to provide the 'offer letter' as updated information so that they could expedite the process?

Is there anything else I can do. Because by the looks of it (after reading some of the updates) the early July timeline seems challenging now.

Yeah it came one day after my profile got updated. I first got a ghost update that said Profile Updated but there was no change.
Next day my medical details and counterfoil details disappeared and it just said you do not need a medical exam. I got an email from IRCC saying your profile has been updated. Status changed to Submitted.
And the next day I got a remedical request.

From which country do you belong please ? and your Visa office plz ?

That would be so unfair, but who knows with the IR double F*ing C.

As per discussions with a couple of people from this thread, pre-March 18 people could use their expired COPR together with the new COPR as proof that they are pre-March 18 and thus exempt from the travel restrictions. But I have not seen any first-hand testimony or anything else to that effect myself.

Did you get an acknowledgement? did you get it via mail? because I didn't get any after replying to the mail?

Does having both files in parallel impact the pr process?

I am waiting for the visa email the second time round, having requested an extension to the earlier issued COPR.
But I need to apply for a student permit in the mean time.

Your feedback would be much appreciated.

Just one more query. The student permit is for my dependant. We have the UCI assigned as a part of the PR application. Should we provide the same UCI assigned in the student permit application?
