Hi @legalfalcon .Thanks a lot .
I have received my CoPr today after more than a year wait . I have received the copr till year 2022.
now I need to know will I be able to add her after the CoPR before I receiving the physical card. Or I do I have to sponsor her now ?
TIA
Are you in Canada? If you are, is your COPR signed and stamped?

If you are not currently in Canada and your COPR is not stamped and dated, you can inform IRCC of the change of your family composition and add your spouse.

Hi @legalfalcon. Kindly advise me on what to so in my present circumstance. I discovered from my gcms notes last month that my pr application was approved April 30 2020 but no update since then. Now my child, who is a dependent on my application, just got an offer for college admission in Canada. Can i write ircc hoping they will respond? AORis Aug 2019. VO is Accra
For you child, you will have to apply for a student visa. You can surely write and inform IRCC, but it is at the discretion of IRCC whether to consider your request to suite you a COPR for your entire family.

You can always contact IRCC but it won't necessarily translate into having them move your application further along in the process

As soon as you got married, you should have informed IRCC. It is an applicant's obligation to inform IRCC as soon as the family composition changes.

Hi @legalfalcon .... I have a question regarding Criminality. I have taken an extract from GCMS notes. Could you please help me know why our criminality is not yet started? Is this because I had a previous refusal? I have declared it in the statutory questions section.

If you answered yes to any of the statutory questions, you will have a review required, which is common. The note you have shared is R10 note, i.e. completeness check.

The criminality is based on PCCs and the biometrics you submit. If you have not yet received a request for biometrics, you will have to wait, and if you have already provided biometrics, they may not have been evaluated by RCMP.

There are activities and as per them RCMP and send No reportable trace, it has to be updated by IRCC.

Hi @legalfalcon! My friend got his CoPR yesterday and he already submitted photos as per the requirements specified in that CoPR letter. He needs to travel to his home country due to an emergency in next couple of days. We are aware that he can't travel back to Canada with a PR card or PRTD. My question is, If the PR card is mailed, can I send this to him(outside of Canada) via a speed courier so that he can come back with that PR card instead of applying for PRTD? I highly appreciate your inputs here. Thank you!

YEs, you can ship the PR card, however, please remember that PR cards when shipped are subject to being confiscated by CBSA, unless accompanied by proper authorisation. If confiscated, you will have to apply for PRTD, return to Canada and then you can submit a form to CBSA asking for a release of your PR card. There is no penalty and it is not a criminal offence, but on a case by case basis, CBSA may confiscate immigration documents that are being shipped outside Canada.

Hi @legalfalcon - what is s.16(2)(c).

I see there are lots of pages redacted in GCMS notes and on the top right-hand corner, this is mentioned. I read Justice Laws Website about it, however, I am unable to understand. What does it mean in layman's language and why it is done? Please advice.
