Hello Everyone, if you have your COPR already and you want to get your Passport/Documents back. for GTA , visit CBSA Mississauga office and ask for your documents . it is very easy and fast . just go with one recognized ID card (Drivers License or Medical etc.). I got my documents within one hour today.

If CBSA processed your asylum and sized your documents, you can go to CBSA mississauga office. That's if you've used Toronto or GTA address on your PR application. 6900 airport road.

My Medical Was done 2 years ago and I was not asked for a new one? Any idea what is happening? Did they just skip this step and what is next?

No, they just extend medical for everyone. No worries, everything is good
Next is background criminality security and eligibility. Timeline is different for everyone after medical.. Im waiting since December (but its considered to be extremely long wait) so usually its much faster

Thanks a lot! So they will not ask for new Medical you think? The last one I had was 2 years ago for Work Permit application, did not provide any medical for the PR

hi. me and my mom we both received our AIP at the same time,and received my COPR on March but there is no update on my mom application since the, should i do anything? i check the status everyday and there is no update in my mom's case.we got almost everything at the same day, i mean the hearing court, fingerprint request, and AIP.

Congrats, in the next few days you will get DM. That is if you already got eligibility passed.

No , they won't. We are exempted from new medical under the Policy. So don't worry, and good luck to you. When did you apply? A lot of people from the end of 2019 and getting their DMs,,,feels like they are finalizing 2019 already

I applied in December 2019, did not have a great experience with these guys though.. I waited 3 years for a hearing before applying. Hopefully, they finish it soon.

did they ask you to submit Police clearance or rcmp fingerprints?

Here is the deal gentlemen, I applied to become a PR on March 22, 2019. Only criminality is in progress. They didn’t start eligibility or security yet. Called so many times but the answer is ready, Covid. It has been 25 months and it is absurd and ridiculous at this point. I emailed my MP who ,in turn, emailed the IRCC about my file. The IRCC said that Eligibility, Security, and Criminality are in progress. They also claimed that the reason for the delay is the fact that I live in Quebec (which I want those who live in Quebec to confirm) and that Quebec didn’t include me in their 2019 and 2020 immigration quota. It is just didn’t sound right to me. Anyways, I called IRCC few days later and they said the same shit, criminality is in progress and eligibility and security didn’t start. Bear with me please, I emailed the MP again and they said that they emailed the IRCC about the eligibility and security but I should wait for Quebec to send me a confirmation of receipt which I have never heard of before. Does Quebec play a direct role or send any correspondence straight to refugees regarding their PR applications? I mean the only time I had to deal with Quebec is when I applied for CSQ in 2019 which I obtained in 2 weeks.

i live in quebec too and never heard anything like this before that receipt confirmation or something , im 2019 june applicant and waiting after eligibility passed in dec,,a friend of mine got his copr who applied same time as me. im not sure if ircc discriminating people applied from quebec, but to my 3 years of experience in this jurisdiction that they trying to behave like different country quebec/quebecers. but i also heard that many students from quebec also waiting too long to get their permits.. god knows whats really happening in those behind closed doors in this country.
