I want it to shut down but this is just horrible. Read an article earlier about these shady quarantine centers.

Guys did they charge your card already? Booked mine tuesday, and until now it hasnt been charged though I got the confirmation number already.
I feel so happy getting comfort inn at $789 for 3 nights but unfortunately Cathay Pacific cancelled my flight, now I have to book for Toronto even if my final destination is Montreal since my stop over from my flight that was cancelled is Toronto.
I suggest booking within 48 hours before your flight.

Government site has been updated with a long FAQ. Also some cost ranges posted, and it says to contact hotel directly to find out the cost (not book). Although not sure this is accurate as I'm seeing cheaper prices being quoted by others.

Here it states that Hotel bookings can not be done with hotel directly and need to contact those two numbers for any bookings.

I booked on 19th February and it hasn't been charged yet. Booked for 5th March, got HRG confirmation email
Me too..flying tomorrow from us. Hotel told me when arrive check in we will see your ID and credit card.
Too bad they can't provide the prices for individual hotels. That wouldn't be too hard to do.
Too bad indeed. But from what I'm seeing, each hotel's price seems to fluctuate based on dates and days of the week which is rather unfair.
Sorry to Ask, Can you please tell us for which days have you booked hotel. Weekends or weekdays?
Has anyone went through the below? I suppose students and people on assisted living can benefit from this and decline to pay for the hotel

A person (who is not otherwise exempt from quarantine) who enters Canada by aircraft and cannot provide evidence of pre-paid accommodation at a government-authorized accommodation is considered unable to quarantine. A person who is considered unable to quarantine must follow the directions of a screening officer or quarantine officer to go to a federal designated quarantine facility
