The only facts we have is about the processing time in 2019 . Over 80% of the FSW applicants took about 9 Months to process according to IRCC ( this was precovid ). We don't have stats for last year but I am assuming applications took longer .
With the current scenario of travel restrictions and so many people having expired COPR unless things don't change in terms of vaccinations, lifting of the restrictions outland applicants might have to prepare mentally for a longer processing.
Ofcourse like everyone else I hope we all get our PPR email soon but the wait might be longer than we expect.

In 2019 they did not prioritize inland over Outland. Right now they do and it is even more complicated to predict the processing time.
Also, I know a person who applied in 2019 CEC and got it in 1 month. So the average is really average and can tell us a little about particular singe case.

Agreed only time will tell, every application is different and has so many variations. Let's just wait and see .

considering the delay in starting biometrics in India and overall processing, it's obvious the medicals which are valid only for a year will expire as well much before landing
does that mean we would need a fresh medical done?

Hi Legalfalcon. I have a question.
I ordered gcms notes on GetGCMS.com. I received the receipt right away after payment. But I haven’t received the consent form after 12 hours. Is it normal? Thanks

f your payment was successful, you would have received a payment confirmation email. Upon a successful payment, the site should have directed you to the information page to collect your information. If you were not directed to the information page, this could be because you closed your browser, the internet link was too slow, or not secure. The process is terminated to protect your privacy and any potential information theft. Please contact us quoting the payment id and we will guide you further.

is IP2 the same as GU 2 ?
QUOTING below thread however i have only experienced GU thing twice. I have no idea about other terms.
"""
Post-submission stages:
False IP2
- Usually right from AOR or just after MEP. Background Check shows "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.”
MEP - Medicals passed: review of medical results changes from "You do not need a medical exam." to "You have passed the medical exam." There is no email for MEP.
Ghost Update - When you log in, the application says it's been "updated" but none of the fields have changed. Once you logout and log back in, the application returns to being "submitted". Ghost updates are not announced by email and a candidate must check their profile daily to not miss them.
Ghost Update #1 or Real IP1 - "In progress" 1: Background Check changes to "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check." Usually follows MEP. Some applicants (especially Inland and CEC) skip this stage. You should receive an email for your Real IP1 - the email will not provide any details, just that your application has been updated.
NA2 - "Not Applicable" 2: Background Check changes to "Not Applicable" again after IP1. Some applicants skip this stage and it is easily missed. No email.
Ghost Update #2 or Real IP2 - "In progress" 2: Background Check changes to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." No email.
NA3 - "Not Applicable" 3: Background Check changes to "Not Applicable" again after IP2 (uncommon).
Ghost Update #3 or Final Ghost Update - Often considered a sign that PPR is coming soon. Not seen by all applicants.
PPR - Passport request: IRCC sends "Ready for visa" e-mail asking you to submit your documents to your visa office so they can issue your CoPR and entry visa if applicable. A PPR is announced only by email, and there may be no changes made directly to the profile. If you are worried you might miss it, you can whitelist the email domain @cic.gc.ca to ensure the email comes straight to your inbox.
CoPR - Confirmation of Permanent Residence: A document that says you've been approved for permanent residence

fsw -outlanders have to wait a minimum of 1 year from now......provided, the vaccination is done by then
It's posts like this that have made me stop coming on this forum as much. Appreciate everyone is frustrated with processing times and theorising about what if's and possible scenarios, but, stating things like this when it is not factually correct or been officially confirmed by Canadian authorities can be very misleading, can gain momentum as 'forum gossip' and add to people's stress and panic. Furthermore, it could even lead to excess submissions via webform and phone calls which doesn't help anyone's case, given it further saturates the office(s) of the IRCC.

I've even seen people scaremongering about what they deem to be an omission from the application i.e. a form being vital when it's optional or sometimes not even required at all. Again, this leads to increased panic and more webforms being submitted, which is potentially slowing down the processing times as it distracts a limited staff load from an already backlogged system.

Let's all continue to support each other, but I ask kindly we keep the misleading statements and scaremongering to a minimum, if possible. Best of luck to everyone that is a December 2020 AOR and look forward to hearing of everyone's success in coming months.

I get your point and of course, people should not be panicking, but you should understand that many are waiting without any response whatsoever.
For example, I am waiting nine months for Open Work Permit (outside Canada) since I submitted the biometrics and soon approaching one year since I submitted the application. Also, it's been almost a month since I send IRCC Webform - no answer to that as well.
As much as I don't want to admit I am one of those who will probably wait for one year, although the processing time was just five months (with Covid restrictions).
So it's quite difficult to stay optimistic and not get into the rabbit hole of theorizing and panicking!
Good luck everyone!

Of course i understand that and I appreciate a lot of people quite simply have their lives 'on hold' while this plays out. That being said, even more so, I stand by what I said in avoiding posting conjecture as it helps nobody :)
