My wife just received CoPR this morning, wohoo! (we are March 4th applicants).

The approval and document number etc, shows on GCKey, however she hasn't received an email yet. On GCKey, there is a letter titled "Other" under messages, however when we click to open it, it says that the page cannot load. Anyone else have this issue?

Side note is that we noticed that her biometrics expiry used to be 10 years (2030), but now it shows the expiry as May 2021. Anyone know why this is? She got her OWP and TRP approved just a few days ago too, if that's relevant.
Congratulations guys hope so everyone will get good news soon.

UPDATE: We were asked to submit additional documentation (husbands mandatory military history) back on Jan 13th. We submitted the documents electronically around Jan 15th. Today, Feb 19th, we finally got conformation of receipt for the documents. Thought I would share for others who may have received the same request and were curious about timelines.
Thanks for this. I was asked for additional documents on January 24 and uploaded them immediately. My account still says they need these documents from me. Hopefully they’ll be processed soon And we can get on with this process...

We went through something similar; they wanted additional proof of cohabitation forms, which we submitted on January 4th. By Feb. 3rd there was still no update on GCKey, so my wife called the IRCC to ask if they received the forms she uploaded. The gentleman checked her file and said yes and that the department who processes those docs through webform was backlogged. However, they updated our status on GCKey to "we have received the additional documents you sent" the day after we called them.

Could be worth giving them a call and asking them if they received your docs.

Thanks for this. Calling them can be so hit and miss: sometimes you can connect with someone pretty quickly, other times you get stuck in a swirling vortex that turns out to be a drain into oblivion....

I too was asked for addition proof of cohabitation, and I’ve been struggling with the actual meaning of this request. So, I’m legally married to my spouse, and we’re in love, and, as an Inland Spousual PR applicant, we both clearly live in in Canada. Are they thinking me and my spouse are in love, and in Canada, but we live apart?! And for proof they suggest we supply mortgage or lease contract with both of us listed on it. Or utility bills in both our names? What tourist marries a Canadian and buys a home or enters into a 1+ year lease agreement in Canada while they’re still technically a tourist? It’s ludicrous to even couch this type of request this way. Pandemic notwithstanding, as a ‘tourist’, if I had a lease agreement in my name in Canada any CBSA border guard would think they’ve hit the jackpot when I crossed the border into Canada...

Sadly, I believe this is IRCC’s passive-aggressive way to say they need more proof that our relationship is legitimate. Which is a reasonable request. Why don’t they just ask this instead?

I’m a March PR + OWP applicant and have been in-country since February. Last week I had to cross the border for 2 hours to check on our place just across the border. Upon my return CBSA nailed me to a cross, in spite of my having my all my paperwork in order. The agents problem? I’d been in Canada for a year and had no official status - he said my application for an OWP meant absolutely nothing towards my time in Canada, and that he could arrest me on the spot for overstaying. Fortunately I kept my cool, and a sympathetic Superintendent who knew me from numerous previous crossings talked the first agent down and I was allowed to return.

Gahh, this entire process has reached ludicrous mode...

/end rant

Border officers want you to loose your cool so that you can start changing your story :) Its a good thing you remained calm.
With the proof of cohabitation, the checklist requires one to submit evidence that they live in Canada with their spouse/partner, If you did not submit any, or submitted some but not enough as per the checklist, then yes they can ask you for proof of cohabitation, whether we are in love or not is something they cant really prove, and its up to us to prove to them that we are together and our relationship is genuine. And this is always a headache to most of us when applying, I remember we had to put off our application for a few months while trying to gather these same documents

That is a rough experience at the border. I thought that the OWP application would be proof of your implied status. I guess it's luck of the draw in terms of what CBSA officer you get.

I totally hear you and it's funny because I said the same thing to my wife about what they expect in terms of proof of cohabitation. The PA is almost completely "off-the-grid" when they come here (she also arrived last February) and didn't have anything in her name and it's hard to gather a whole portfolio of these documents in a short time, especially when she wasn't working. We submitted the PR+OWP just two weeks after she arrived.

When they asked for additional proof of cohabitation/relationship, I had to call the utility companies and ask them to add her name to the bills along with mine, wait for the next billing cycles to get the new bills, and then submit these forms as proof. We also submitted private health insurance docs that show us both at the same address, as well as some outings pictures (with some family members) from 2020. This was thankfully enough proof.

My biometric information was scrubbed from all my submitted applications the day after I received my copr .
Work permit fee and biometric fee was refunded. Now waiting for the extension fee refund.
