Hi, I have some queries regarding our cec profile, my wife is the main applicant and me and daughter are accompaning her. Our score was 446 and we got an ITA on 14th feb under cec(75 cut off). We are facing some confusion in completing our profile, hopefully you guys can help us out. Below are the queries:

1.While creating express entry profile, my wife(primary applicant)admitted of having relatives in canada, her uncle, even though we dont need to claim points for it. Can we remove that now.
2. And I(dependent) admitted of having sister in canada on PR and claimed points. There is some differences in mine and sister's documents i.e. father name misspells in my documents. Though I have an affidavit from my father stating that this is his name on his son's documents but I still don't want to take risk. Can I remove my sister details from profile as the cut off is lower than our crs points.
3. I work as a freelancer from 2014 to till date. I have not added my work experience in profile as freelancing is not an employer. Now the question is, can I add freelancing under the section where past 10 years activity need to be described, selecting option as unemployed.
4. I want to add freelancing somewhere because we are showing indian funds from my bank account where I use to receive freelancing money.

Hello folks,

After the draw, I reviewed my profile and found some mistakes due to mistyping. I changed my Primary NOC, the NOC of my Canadian experience, and one Celpip score. I did this after the draw, but before receiving the ITA (I am still eligible for CEC after the changes).

My profile was locked after the changes, so the information that is frozen is right.

Should I explain the changes in the LoE or they will compare my post-ITA application with the locked profile?

Thanks

If the details in the Locked profile is correct and reflects Your changes , You dont need to explain anything.

To prove Foreign Work Experience, do we need the duties, hours, pay and NOC in the employment letter?
If You hover over the tool tip of Your document checklist against the employment record row, it will show the details of what all things are required for You to prove the experience.

Attach the letter with full time work (40hr+), salary, position job duties, from when to when. Job duties must match 50%+ of the NOC job duties.

As far as I know, only eligible fields can be changed after the draw and since you were able to do this , I think you should be fine.

Not sure how the changes would effect your application but looks like you should be OK. In the end, its always up to the officer's discretion.

Thanks for your reply,
It won’t affect my score it is just an omission i thought they mean if we previously submitted an application to IRCC for PR

The visa officer may have some questions for you because of the fact that you stayed in Canada even after your visa refusal . When you say you couldn't go back to your country because of covid, do you have any proof of communication/document that said you can continue staying in Canada?

1 and 2 - you can remove
Mention freelancing in personal activities. Even you mention there employed, IRCC won’t ask for documents as it’s in the personal history.

you don’t need to provide proof of funds if you’re invited under CEC.

make sure that after removing the above:
1) still meet minimum entry criteria
2) recalculated score is still above the cut off score (75)

Hi Everyone,
Received ITA : 14th Feb, 2021
Submitted Application : 19th Feb, 2021

I submitted my application around 9:30 yesterday.
However, I haven’t received my AOR yet.
Does it take time ?
is it because of weekend, may I expect delay till Monday ?

Yes, it could be because of weekend. I did it on a weekday and instantly I got AOR.
