Thank you..
Shoul I re-apply for GCMS from IRCC? I have not got any response from them.
If you applied from CBSA, you will receive the file and can always reach out to them as well for an update.

Don't suggest re-applying from IRCC as you will receive a response from CBSA

Hello, I've got an 60-day extention from CBSA this morning. Would you please advise whether I should get another note from IRCC or still CBSA?
My PNP-O case is AoR in early Dec and transferred to Hong Kong VO so notes/webform are my only options for processing clarity. I don't even know whether eligibilty has passed or not after talking to IRCC agent...
Thank you!
Suggest to just wait for the file to arrive from CBSA. If at all you wanted to reapply, you should do it at IRCC but again it's a coin toss whether you will receive the new request on time or even that one will receive a time extension.

Extensions from CBSA are usually in 30 day increments like 30, 60 and it's not uncommon to even receive a 45 day extension. IRCC on the other hand usually sends 60 day extensions though some/one third party has disproportionately been receiving 90 day extensions. IRCC has/had been taking extensions based on some form of tiers (revealed in response to an ATIP request) and explains why some/one third party has disproportionately been receiving 90 day extensions.

Got it and really appreciate your advice! It's a bit frustrating with so little visibility after file transferred to abroad VO...

hello @legalfalcon . I just receive my notes. Could you please share you insight about some issues? BTW, I am FSW OUTLAND
Q1:
In page 2, info sharing and criminality is in process
In page 89, note 2,text: recommendation pass.
Usually how long it takes before it is passed

Q2:
From page 42 to 46, there are 5 items about info sharing, 3 of which are related to USA.
type:biographic NRT,type:biometric-FCC: complete-not reviewed,biometric FCC-detail:ready to be assessed
If this means US has given related information to CANADA, and the information has not been assessed? Since All other items are NRT, usually how long it takes to pass info sharing?

thanks in advance

@caipsnotes
I got gcms today.
My eligibility was assessed by assistant first and he had sent it further to review.
Second assessment was done by case processing agent and he didnt recommend any further review. He wrote, "appears to meet" and ready to finalize.
Is there any further assessment left by anyone?

Q1. There is no time frame as such, but if your biometrics are on file then its a fairly quick process.

Q2. After any info comes in from FCC countries, they have to be assessed, and its NRT, i.e. no reportable trace, it will be marked as such and update. All depends on how early your file is reviewed by the VO.

Hello @legalfalcon, hoping to get a bit more clarity about this.
In my GCMS notes under Info Sharing, it looks like there are three types:

Type: Biometric/FCC Detail
Partner: USA
Status: Ready to be Assessed

Type: Biometric - FCC
Partner: USA
Status: Complete - Not Reviewed

Type: Biographic
Partner: USA
Status: System Error

What is the difference between these three types?

How do you know if you get a security pass or not? "Blank" or "Passed" beside the "Security:"
Also, how do you know you are under normal security checks or long-time security screening? Thanks.

You have to understand the process. Since Canada and US and other FCC countries (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and the United States) share data and biometric info as per their agreements in place, when a request is sent and and after it comes back, it has to be assessed based on which country it came from and what came.

Ready to be assessed means it is pending a review, and if it was US, and biometrics data came back, it has to be run through the system to see any potential matches.

When there is a system error, it could indicate that there was no match or nothing came back.

It means that the agent is recommending that the officer review the file before making a final decision. Once the officer pass Eligibility you may see something like this

Hi @legalfalcon,
I have asked you on another thread about this but looking back at the eligibility notes, I can't seem to understand why my application is RR.
All is marked MET or APPEARS TO MEET:

REVIEW REQUIRED: TRIAGE FACTOR A11.2: Met R75: FSW MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Met R76: SELECTION CRITERIA - FSW POINTS: APPEARS TO MEET R76: SELECTION CRITERIA -FUNDS: APPEARS TO MEET FSW points total: 69 RPRF: Complete.

REVIEW TYPE: Program Assistant Application #:E... REGULATION: FSW I have reviewed this application based upon the documents submitted by applicant and the information contained in the file and note the following. MIN.SCORE: 475 CRS SCORE: 493 Principal Applicant Application Promoted: Existing UCI Spouse Application Promoted: New UCI PA: Statutory details located in separate GCMS note Primary Applicant Medical Attached to UCI: Yes Client fees: verified ---LANGUAGES--- Principal Applicant 1-English- IELTS and Met Threshold & Verified 2 -French- TCF and Verified Spouse 1 -English IELTS and Verified ---- EDUCATION ---- Primary Applicant 1-ECA report verified on issuing agency website; foreign credential confirmed on ECA site ECA Canadian Equivalency Summary reported by issuing agency as Master's degree Foreign credential provided Spouse 1- ECA report verified on issuing agency website; foreign credential confirmed on ECA site ECA Canadian Equivalency Summary reported by issuing agency as Master's degree Foreign credential provided --- POLICE CERTIFICATE ---- Primary Applicant PA RCMP Screening NRT 1- Lebanon police certificate: Provided- NRT 2- USA FBI police certificate: Provided-NRT R10 OK Recommendation: Review Required - Stat Question Spouse 1- Lebanon police certificate: Provided-NRT R10 OK Recommendation: Pass Criminality ----AGE---- Applicant's age reviewed and Changed from ITA to e-APR ---- Documents SET FOR REVIEW --- Client Information

The only thing I can see maybe is because I answered YES to a stat question. A few years ago I was on OWP and Temporary Visa working in Toronto. After a year passed I decided to apply for PR through CEC. What happened was that my PR application was returned to me on the grounds that my application was received after the 8000 cap of complete applications was reached so my Bridging Work permit was refused since they did not get a positive feedback on my PR application. I was advised to return to my country and apply again through EE. This was back in 2014-2015.

Now few years later I am applying with my husband to EE FSW.
My questions:

1- Is my history with IRCC the issue here? that I got refused before.
2- If not, then what are the documents that are being reviewed? based on the notes above. & yes when I got my ITA I was 29 when I submitted application I turned 30 years old so I lost 5 points for age but gained points for French test that I added.
