I think you can choose the type of documents that you have for the baby. Check what options you have.

Thanks for your response. It showed only passport or National ID with expiry date. I just want to know if I might have done something wrong. Already trying to get his passport though.

@NOC98 I got ITA under cec but my concern is that my husband got a contract job in montreal though it wasn't in the pool before ITA. Given the rate of refusal I hear about quebec please what would you advice. Should we go ahead to add it in his activity? I'm so confused right now.

Then just wait till you get the passport. The process for passport is less than 2 weeks.

Tricky situation. IRCC will asks for activities in the past 10 years, so even if you didn’t claim points for his work, you have to declare it in the personal history.

I’ve not experienced this first hand, but you mentioned it’s a contract job, so it has an end date? Maybe add an LOE stating that the work is only for xx # of months or years, and that your family will still be staying in a province outside of Quebec, that you’re not moving etc, in order to convince the officer reviewing your file that you intend to live outside of Quebec. Or take it a step higher and provide an sworn affidavit.

You can find several threads here with similar case as yours.

Thanks for your response, this is really a tricky one as I the principal applicant don't reside there. Everything about us is here in Edmonton.
Also, with the contract letter do we need to provide any letter from the company as well?

Job contract should be fine. Not sure what do you mean by “letter from the company”?

Most of my job experience is based on NOC 2174, including my current job. However, I have close WP based LMIA NOC 2147.
1) What is the primary occupation NOC code in my case ?
2) Based on the description of 2174 and 2147, I feel like 2147 is hardware related. Please advice.

I was able to login today at 9 and accepted the invitation. Will start documentation soon.
I couldn't login for whole day yesterday. The game here is to wait patiently. Everyone will get ITA as long as they have applied. All the very best :)
I don’t think there is any option of “accepting invitation”, right ? Either you decline or start submitting documents
