We’re now sending AOR letters or emails for applications received
the week of November 12, 2020
If you still haven’t received your AOR, your application may be
  • taking longer for us review due to COVID-19
  • incomplete and on its way back to you, or
  • going through further review before we start processing it
Sounds Good.. Thanks for the info

Whats funny to me about that statement are two things:

a) November 12 2020 is a Thursday. What 'week' starts on a Thursday?! :p What I suspect happened is that they made a typo or were looking at the wrong month, because October 12 2020, as it happens, is a Monday. Nevertheless, I thought it was amusing.
b) Looking at the tracker sheet, the fact that update is from yesterday, but the data on the sheet shows a two week lead time, going by the small (yet varied) dataset we have.

So setting aside why they chose November 12 as a week marker, it would seem they're being very conservative about their estimates and are posting updates that are likely 12 days slower than they actually are. We're already seeing applications that were formally received by the IRCC as late as November 26th getting their AORs.

This would give them buffer time to meet whatever KPI goals they're trying to hit; the rest of those that get processed in this phase get to reap the rewards of this because they're absolutely plowing through November AORs right now. 82% done for the 117 odd data points on that sheet with about 19 calendar days from the first November 2020 AORs to date (i.e. just 13 working days)!

The dataset is not small, but this is definitely a good sign and I have cautious optimism for what comes next, assuming the December 2020 paper applicants have the same rate of progress.

Hi all,
The online status tool showing incorrect mailing address, however the home address is correct. Using the online tool, seems I can't change the mailing address without changing the home address. Any idea how to change the mailing address only ?

Thank you

I received my application back yesterday as it contained one box that had not been filled up by me.
My dumb luck., I corrected it and sent it back yesterday. I think I would need to reset the clock now.

I had that issue too but thought it would be appropriate to update both home and mailing address as it does not give an option to update only the mailing address. I submitted it a week ago and waiting it to be actioned.
