MsAniger , you deserve to be a 'Sirius A ' (brightest STAR) in this forum. Thanks a lot for your research and regards. However, do you suggest to take lawyers help to make the case more strong.
Thanks for the compliments, we are here to help one another. No I do not think you need a lawyer, its pretty straightforward. Just make sure you have updated your profile before you submit the e-APR. Secondly, according to that link I sent you (read paragraphs below), even after the changes you made on your profile, your score is still above the cut off of 75, therefore you still continue to meet the requirements.
  • If the applicant’s CRS score at the time of the e-APR is equal to or higher than the lowest-ranked score in the round of invitations, the application will not be refused under section A11.2, as long as the applicant’s supporting documentation corroborates their claims and they continue to meet the MEC for Express Entry, including the requirements of the program to which they were invited to apply.
  • If the applicant’s CRS score at the time of the e-APR is lower than the lowest-ranked score in the round of invitations, the application should be refused under section A11.2 for not having maintained the qualifications that would justify the ITA.
Under section A11.2, an officer may not issue a visa to an applicant who did not or does not meet the Express Entry minimum entry criteria (MEC) or did not or does not possess the qualifications for which they received their CRS score at the time when
  • the invitation to apply (ITA) was issued; or
  • the e-APR was received by IRCC.

One of my cousin was in same situation.he got banned for 5 years from canada for misrepresentation. He did nt add his wife and kids .make sure u take a professional advice before u accept the invitation.
So there is a difference
When an applicant claims they are single (yet they are married) or when an applicant claims he/she is not a parent (yet he/she is a parent). This can be treated as mispresentation.
versus
When an applicant is married and/or a parent but declares that his/her dependants will not be accompanying him/her. From my research, so long as the profile is updated after an ITA and the info on the e-APR matches the profile and last but not least, does not affect the requirements of that particular stream, in this case CEC, then the applicant is safe.

Kindly, can anybody advise what to include in the LOE letter?

Also, I did a distance learning program in the UK, which did not require me to reside physically in the country. Now as part of this application, am being requested to submit a police clearance report. Kindly advise.

It could go either way. I would suggest including a nice letter of explanation explaining why the change of mind after you received your ITA. IRCC clearly states that profiles should be updated with material changes. They also state that information on the EE profile and application should match.
Thanks for responding , wel
Update: For fear of giving misleading advice knowing how PR is important to all of us, I googled. According to this immigration website, you are good to go.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/assessing-electronic-application-on-section-a11-2.html
Thanks Appreciate your guidance

Hi, thanks for sharing this, it is an eye opener. Me too, one of my credentials is from a UK University but through a collaboration between the learning institution in my home country and the UK University. I even got an ECA. I have a BCPNP paper based application in process and maybe IRCC might also ask me for a police certificate for the UK.

1. You could request the learning institution to write an official letter confirming that the program you studied was offered via distance learning.
2. If you had a passport at the time you were doing this distance learning, then attach copies of the Biometrics page and all the passport pages which will show proof that you did not travel during that period and explain that this was a distance learning program.
3. If 1 and 2 are not viable, then in your LOE, give a simple explanation stating that this was a distance learning program. I am sure IRCC has come across several students who completed an international study program through distance learning OR if the Immigration Department in your home country are co-operative, maybe they can give you some document proving you did not travel

Its my son, an inland applicant, who met CEC requirements last July 2020. I am not sure about your situation as it can take up to 24 hrs (or less) for a profile update. If the draw was done on February 13, 2021 at 11:56:56 UTC then you will be able to gauge whether you had submitted your profile before this timeframe. If you do not receive an ITA, I would suggest that you raise a Webform explaining your situation. This is a chance in a lifetime so do not give up.

Hi All,
I have received a PNP certificate from province but before I accept I got an ITA through CEC stream in recent draw. So, now I want to go with CEC and while filling the application for Permanent Residence there is a question "Has <name> received a nomination certificate from a province or territory?" .For this question ,Do I need to select yes or no in my case as I have not accepted the PNP and want to go with CEC specific draw ITA? If I select "Yes" and provides the province name will there be a problem in later stage of processing my PR application?
Please help me in clarifying in this .
Thanks in Advance

Hi Guys. Just a quick question. When completing the PR application there is a question about our UCI. Do we use the UCI that is shown on our student permit/work permit or the New UCI that is shown in the Express Entry Profile?

Old UCI. The UCI you see in the express entry profile is temporary. It’ll revert to your old UCI once your PR app has been reviewed for documentation completeness and your medicals were passed.

Hello guys. I got an invitation from IRCC on February 14.
I wanna know what is the difference between Letter of Employment, Employment Records and Offer of Employment?
Im on a pgwp currently working in Alberta.

Correct me if I am wrong.
Letter of Employment should be a reference letter from the HR team saying my duty,my salary, etc?
Employment Records: Pay stub and T4?
Offer of Employment: my contract?
