Hello everyone!

Do you guys have any idea if I am in my home country and got my PPR. Could I send my passport from there even if I applied inside Canada? I will be going home for vacation ( due to some important matter) on March 1st week. Thank you in advance!

AOR: Jan 18th 2021

Happened with us, but back in 2018 when things were different. We had to travel back home and PPR had just come. This trip was for a month and we knew we'll be back to Canada but we know our last date to send the passport will be gone by the time we come back. So we sent a request to IRCC explaining purpose of our travel and requested an extension. We got a 30 days extension to submit our passports. We came back to Canada and submitted our passports and everything worked well.

I checked MyImmiTracker and they have started issuing BIL/MEP to candidates with AOR after January 20, 2021. So, you should be getting it soon, not later than next week.

Today (Feb. 13) i got another email saying your application status has changes, but I don’t see any. Is that a ghost update?

Yes, a ghost update. Someone touched and updated the file on their side. Not every update is visible through your a/c

Hello,

I got my invitation today. But I didn’t added my husband with my application because my points were getting down. He is in Canada on SOWP. Unbelievable, this time cut off was 75 points, so can i add my husband now?

Did you include your spouse as "non-accompanying" in your profile? If yes, then yes you can add him/her now, the score will be recalculated

Post ITA profiles can be edited, 100%, but the changes should not be such that it brings you down the minimum eligibility (such as no IELTS vs IELTS). In your case it is fine, just put your spouse as accompanying now. Your scores would be recalculated. You may add a Letter of Explanation to explain this change.
