Are you living in Canada with your Canadian spouse and do you still have valid status? And if so, you can apply inland and inlcude OWP (this is not called spousal open work permit, just open work permit) in the sponsorship application. You do not need a job offer.
Once you get your OWP approved, then you can start working (or not) and this will give you a worker status while waiting for your application to be processed.

Yes, i have my visitor visa... Im just confused because i opened the OWP form and they ask the name of the company im going to work for and a job offer letter... Should i just leave blank ?

Are you filling in IMM 5710? According to the info in Guide 5553. Make sure you are filling in the paper form of the application and use the paper form guide. Others who have more recent experience with OWP included with the inland application can give you more info.
If you chose “Open work permit” or post-graduation work permit no information is required for question: 2 to 8.

Hi, I need to apply an open work permit for my spouse living with me in Canada. She had Open work permit however, we lost our status in Oct 2020. Thankfully, I was able to apply for work permit under new Public policy for former international graduates and hold work permit right now. Meanwhile, we applied for my wife's visitor record(still under process). Now when I try to apply for spousal open work permit, the date I provide in questionnaire says she is not eligible for SOWP as its over 90 days. Is there a chance I can manipulate dates (meaning apply recent date to fall under restoration) to get through and apply for her?

any suggestion is appreciated, please and thanks :)

No, you can't manipulate dates. That will result in refusal.

Has she applied for a visitor record or has she applied to restore her status (or both)? She will need to wait for restoration to be approved before she can apply for the SOWP.
