Hey guys, please share your valuable opinion on this. I’ve recently applied for my TRV ( Temporary Resident Visa ) on 16th January 2021, haven’t received any response yet.
But I would be flying back to India in the first week of March. So, is it possible to get my passport stamped in India after receiving the TRv approval letter in Canada ?
Thank you so much for your time, much appreciated !

No, even I havent given my biometrics as it was not needed.

But, have you received any response from Visa Office in India, after you sent them Passport Submission form ?

Please let me know, because even I am planning to submit my passport in India.

Hey I haven’t received my passport submission form. I have contacted vfs Delhi regarding this. They asked me to submit it the nearest vfs. But I am even planing a second option since i don’t know how long vfs India gonna take to stamp it and send back. I might give my passport to someone going back to Canada. They could stamp it from there and send it back.

I have been reading a few posts regarding this and people say that the process of getting the passport stamped in India is much faster than in Canada. Inside India, you would get your passport stamped within 2 weeks whereas it takes almost a month for stamping passport inside Canada.
So, from what I've heard is that once you receive your Passport Request Letter inside your CIC account, you would need to send a VFS passport submission form, after which your passport will be delivered for stamping at a Vac Centre in India.

However, you need to convince them that you do not have Biometric details as you submitted your Trv inside Canada. Just try contacting Vac and let them know that you are biometric exempt.

Do not do this, it might be illegal.

Passports should not cross international borders without the holder but please get a professional opinion or google search.
