Ok. Thanks. Am also qualified for the pathway program but my lawyer delayed in sending in my application for pathway up till now and av paid and submitted all documents to her since Jan 4th but as God will have it AIP came on H and C on sat 6th Feb. That’s why I was thinking of submitting 2nd stage on my own because she delays too much until last day of deadlines. I paid for h & C and also pathway. Someone said u can still covert 2nd stage to pathway I don’t know how that works
That's good for you . I think you can submit the 2nd stage requirements by yourself if you don't want to wait for your lawyer. The email address to send it to is highlighted in green in the letter. Whatever works for you. Just make sure you have correct documents. Why do you want to convert it again? You have your AIP already. If you convert 2nd stage to pathway, it's of no use because it's thesame procedure (1st and 2nd stage). Have you done your medical and police fingerprint?

And it’s so funny I never applied for PRRA. I still have status. My refugee claim is still in the federal court for appeal and no decision yet on that. Am also surprised that my AIP came from PRRA office but it was signed by a senior immigration officer though
@Blac Kelly..
I know why lol
It doesn’t matter where it is from as long it’s positive answers
i hope we all get positive answers like you soon

good evening ayanna, if a person ( not me) never applied for assylum and apply for PRRA , she will have the right to apply for work permit if she never had one ?

good even Ajakarian
if her H&c is in process more then a year and she is still in Canada
She can apply for work permit but chances of approval 10%
For work permit you need a lawyer to help you
there was few members got approved but I don’t remember in which forum they were

Thanks I have police check already from my country and that’s the only place I stayed more than 6 months. I have booked for medicals already for this coming Saturday though I don’t have instructions yet but the panel physician said I should come with AIP letter and other documents
