Anyone know when they start to review your medicals etc is it before the expiry or on the expiry date? My medicals expire the 2nd March and I'm hoping they get their shit together before then

The status doesn't seem to be an automatic update IMO. Expiry may have been a driver but the date medical status changed, for what I've seen, had all been quite inconsistent and varies by up to a month or more and some never even get it until way after
I ordered GCMS notes and as per that my medical were supposed to expire in nov but status changed to in medical section in oct itself. When I called Ircc I was told , no request has been sent even as of today, but meficals status changed from passed to the above. Based on this I said

My application is the same except for I am FSW Inland and AOR March 9th.
My went back to: You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes. on December 16th. How long has yours been like that for?
*I called IRCC and they said my medicals had been sent for review by an officer on the 16th of December. No updates since then.
Actually, I didn't notice it before, after my AOR, I got on the update part : You passed the medical exam then dissapared. since then I didn't really see changes ( mayeb i missed smthg) but my medical expire jul 2020 and i recieved nothing. Im not sure if it was extended or not.
I didnt order any notes neither received clear info about my application so its really a guessing game.

Yes, I think you are right, that would have happened if the medicals expired.
However I assumed that they did not expire yet, considering the AOR. In my opinion if they were done less than 1 year ago they are not expired yet and a change in the "Review of medical results" would mean that they were sent for review.
They did expire on jul 2020 but i got nothing from IRCC. I do remeber having ' you passed the medical on my status around my AOR and didnt notice any change in the below info.
