After moving to Canada from USA on ICT WP (Not PR or PPR), How do you get there Driving License? I heard that If you had driving License in United states for more than 2 year then you get Driving License there instantly after showing some proofs of driving records from USA. However, I am trying to find out what we call that document which we need to get from DMV in USA. I had a friend who moved to Canada in 2018 from here and he got his license in one week after reaching there however, he is not sure what we call that document as it was taken by Canada Transport dept. Please let me know if someone know what is the name of that document which we can get from DMV before we land in Canada.
I checked quebec DMV sites, your original license (Not paper) should be enough.. any way i will have my DMV History from US also in addition if needed.

You have to get driving history from DMV. In some states it is available online at dmv site by paying fees. Others we have to go in person or apply through mail.

As per Missouri DMV, they don't give Driving History before last renewal. So I had last renewal on Aug 2019 so it is not more than 2 years. However, I got a clearance letter which has my original DL issue date as Apr 2015 and expiry date as Jan 2021. But not sure if that works. My friends said when he got the letter from Missouri DMV, he had his picture on it. So I also requested one letter which says as Image Portfolio for my driving license. Still waiting for that but not sure what information it will have. I am just trying to get all the document from here just in case they need. My License is also expired in first week of January. Someone also said that it should be good if it is within 6 months.

Sharing my timeline for ICT WP from the U.S.

Application submitted: Dec 24th
Biometrics request: Dec 25th
Biometrics submitted: Dec 30th
Passport request: Jan 19th

I mailed my passport to VFS Los Angeles this afternoon.

A few tips :
1. I gave my biometrics at a VAC (instead of a USCIS ASC) because there was an immediate slot available at that time. When I checked the ASC website, the earliest appointment available was almost 1.5 weeks ahead. So just by picking a VAC over an ASC, I saved ~7 days.

2. I got my shipping labels ahead of time. I was hoping I would get the approval this week, so I went ahead and ordered the shipping labels days before I got the passport request letter. Depending on your situation, you could save 1-2 days (by just being a little impatient ;))
for ICT GSS, did you provide PCCs? My employer applied ICT GSS and my application was submitted on 5th Jan, I finished Biometrics on 13th. I just received communication to provide PCCs.

Hi,

I am not in US. I applied from Bahrain and that has same processing timelines as US. I got PCC from India and Bahrain but i stayed in another country also in last 10 years and PCC is pending from that. My attorney received comminication from IRCC to furnish PCCs. As i checked with couple of other guys and they didn't have to provide PCCs for ICT GSS.

S.K

If you have visitor visa of Canada earlier then you will not require PP submission. And you can directly travel to Canada with approval letter

Very recently (as of 20th of Jan 2021) VFS India have resumed the collection of biometric for Work Permit class.
Lets see how long it takes IRCC to make decision for folks who have applied online application for ICT WP.

I see most of folks here have applied from U.S.
Has anyone got any approvals after submitting Biometric in India?

I am 34 yrs old, and applying for EE is not possible for me due to the high score even after calculating the one year and the job offer.

Any suggestion on which path should i take to get the PR?

Which province are you in? If you don't have enough points for EE, then you will have to look at the PNP program for the province you are in.
