WP Application timeline from USA:
Application - 14 Dec 2020
Biometric- Not needed since I have done biometric before for visitor visa
Approval - 14 Jan 2021
No need to send passport since I have visitor visa .

I still need to send my passport for TRV visa, does anyone aware of the process. not sure how can i send my password to them?

do we need PCC for ICT GSS work permit application?
from my location currently its showing 13 weeks through normal processing. I completed biometrics on 13th Jan 2021. what could be expected timelines for ICT GSS?

Already sent it in. Once I got the approval, I had to contact VFS via email. They sent me a link to make payment for the TTS service fee and the postage fees for sending in/receiving your passports. Once I did, they emailed me the tracking labels and O then sent my passport and a few other documents they asked for.

Keep aside full two weeks from the day you sent mail for payment link till you got back your PP.

Like 5 + 5 Working days ignoring holidays

Do we have option to go in-person for Visa stamping at any nearest VFS office and collect the Passport same day or next day?

They are not accepting inperson visit due to COVID you need mail them .

What is the issue not to mail ? Its a seemless process which works fine.

I can stay in USA until 20th Feb only. And I haven't received any approval on my application yet. If It comes by first week of Feb, I was looking if i could get my Visa stamped in-person to avoid any delay receiving my passport back otherwise i will stuck here.

Ok its going to be tight this what i can share based on what i tracking for past 3 months:

You will be fine as long as you receive your PPR on or before 4th or 5th of February. Anything after that might very tight...

I assume you already have your flights to India on 19th or 20th.

Flight is not yet booked. Legally i can stay until 22nd Feb. However, I am taking last day to leave USA by 20th Feb. I can book the flight a week in advance. However, If I don't get my approval by 2-3rd Feb then I will book the flights for India.

Few friends who are planning to leave India they had tough time booking flights because every one want to avoid long waiting time for connecting flights and avoiding european connections if possible due to COVID..

So you might need to consider that also... But i assume you can cancel India flights if you got your PPR sooner...
You should not have trouble booking few dates before from US to CAN..

you can apply b2 visa on your own. check with any immigration attorney. you can convert your h1b to b2, only thing is you cant get any salary.
