Time line for my parents application as immediate family member of PR holder.
25nov online application
26nov biometrics taken
10dec biometrics completed
Email also sent to ircc for exemption from travel ban, no update yet.
Still waiting..
Did anyones application come through under the same category..

Is there any forms for immediate family other than phac form to be filled to prioritize the application?

Hi,

If you have Citizenship or PR, do you still need to email IRCC for written authorization about exemption? I thought that is only for immediate family members of temporary residents or extended family of PR and citizen.

I think Canadian citizens and PRs do not need to send email for IRCC authorization. As they are automatically considered as a priority, might be wrong

What the difference between biometric completed and BVL and how much time is in between the two.

Yes from this email it is clear that you dont need to email them if you are a Permanent Resident (PR or citizen). They only need a TRV.

Only immediate family members of TEMPORARY RESIDENTS need written authorization along with a TRV.

You do not need authorization but you need to send an email to prioritize your application incase you did not mention purpose of travel as Other - COVID-19 in your application form.
