After the 2nd ME of we couple and medical passed, the DECISION MADE was showing in ECAS only one day. Then several days later, the MR for children came up after XMAS.

absolutely good news any idea on how to apply I did not find the requirements correct me if I am wrong
I think the webpage lists the basic requirements:
  • To apply for an open work permit under the public policy, an applicant must
    • have a PGWP that expired on or after January 30, 2020, or a PGWP that expires in 4 months or less from the date they apply
    • still be in Canada
    • have a valid temporary status, or be applying to restore their status
But the details won't come up until the applications open on January 27 it seems.

Evening all,

I am all done!! CoPR received via GCKey today. Shows issued by Vancouver (despite having to send photos and passport photocopy to CPC Ottawa). Best of luck to all and keep up the good information sharing.

Timeline in signature.

Cheers,
Grug

My application was updated yesterday and I can see the CoPR document issued but there is no document available (Application status changed to approved) and it only shows the CoPR number.
on ecas the status changed to complete and I can see this :
"You entered Canada at the Etobicoke IRCC office on January 8, 2021 and became aPermanent Resident"

Are they going to send me CoPR by mail ?
