Did you order GCMS notes? I'm curious to know if security was passed a few hours after eligibility, or if it was "pre-processed" in the background for a while but simply updated (passed) at the same time.
FYI, just to let you know that Security assessment details are redacted from GCMS notes under the following section of the act. It usually has two status i.e. Not started or Blank

15(1) The detection, prevention or suppression of subversive or hostile activities.

What does the above means is that on page 2 of GCMS notes it will show blank(without any date) and under the admissibility section of the notes it will show activity for security assessment with basic details(UCI, name, type etc), but without any dates.

Hello all,

I just want to be sure I did the right thing. AOR-June 17 2020. I applied for GCMS notes on Dec 23, 2020 using the directions in the link below:

https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/how-to-order-gcms-notes-step-by-step-process.513893/

I had also used it in 2019 when my first application was rejected and i got my notes in 30 days. Just want to be sure its still the right way to go and if anyone here has requested using CIC website as shown when you click on the link above. Please let me know...

TIA! :)

Requested my notes on October 10, 2019, using the procedure in the link. Still no answer (even tough I had a pretty good idea on how things are by calling IRCC).

Has anyone requested notes after Oct 10 and got a response by email?

Edit: Sorry The year was 2020, not 2019.

Guys I am freaking out here, my BOWP was rejected saying that I did not submit proof that I had submitted a PR application (my AOR), but I did submit it (it was the second and third page of the supporting document). I called an agent and they agreed with me saying that my application seemed correct, and she immediately submitted a reconsideration for my application. I called a few agents after that and all of them said that they can see the document the officer claimed that I did not submit, but none of them could tell me how long it is going to take.

It has been 4 days since I submitted the request, and when I called today, the agent said that the IRCC office hasn't looked at the reconsideration request.

- Have any of you had this issue? If yes, how long did reconsideration take for you?
- Is there any way I can expedite it? Since this seems like an error on their part, I was hoping there was someone I could email or contact?
- My PR application is almost complete (everything passed except criminality which is in-progress), is this going to put my PR application processing on hold, if yes, how do I mitigate that?

My timelines are 3 days after yours, but the status is the same. Not sure what is happening.

Is Etobicoke was the secondary office for your application from the begining?
