Hello @caipsnotes @legalfalcon ,

Kindly I want your opinion on a certain situation.

I applied through express entry (FSW-O) in Jan 2020.

I didn't receive a decision on my application yet. I conclusively know that my Eligibility and Criminality has been passed as per my GCMS notes. If I want to open a business in the United States, would it affect in anyway my application processing or the decision on my application?

Thank you in advance.

Hi. Is this in the interim until you receive a decision?

You can call and confirm. My medicals have been extended but on login I still see them as expired.

Hi @caipsnotes,

I'm planning to start my business during this month and I want to continue with it after I move to Canada as well. I'm not a resident in USA but I offer marketing services and can be done online. I just was wondering if owing a business in USA would affect the decision to be made on my application or it has nothing to do with it.

Hello All,

These medicals instructions are being issued as immigration application has reached the stage where medical examination results are now required.

I received a mail from IRCC requesting to undergo the medical examination within 90 days.

Also, there's a medical report form attached (IMM1017E)

AOR:
25th Jan 2020
Biometrics passed: 13th Feb 2020
Pre Medicals: 30th Dec 2019

May I know why IRCC has requested for medical examination again ? and why it hasn't extended my medicals ?

Is it a sign that after this medical exam, the PPR is on it's way ?

Decision to extend prior medical or not is taken based on reassessment of initial medical report by the Regional Medical Officer (RMO)... If you have been asked to retake medical, then that is the advice to the VO by the RMO...

May I know What's the turn around time for IRCC then to issue the CoPR after doing the requested re-medical?

Your PR application has no bearing on any business you open, or any investment you do, or any property you buy.

If you make any new changes to the factors for which you claimed points, after your submit your PR application, they have no impact on the processing.

However, if you change your country of residence, make sure that you update your address with IRCC.

IF your meds have expired, they will be reassessed and an decision on whether to ask for a remed or given an extension will be made. If your initial assessment was M1, you will most likely get an extension.

Usually when medicals are sent for reassessment the medical status on your MyCIC account changes.

Sorry to jump in with my query @legalfalcon...

In my GCMS.... in Medical Section (page 102):

M Profile : 1
Description : No health impairment sufficient to prevent addmission for medical reasons under section 38(1)(a)

Sir is this the initial assessment M1, which you mentioned about?

I have got a GU, Now the Medical status in Not shown in the Application status, anyone experiencing this?
