Guys I need an advice;

Last time I called CIC the officer confirmed that I passed eligibility and waiting on criminals and Biometric.

-My question is; I want to quit my job(nursing job -which got me the invitations). Is that the right decision to do? Or should I waite until my application get approved!.

This is a common question, if your job offer gave you points, the safe thing to do would be to wait until you have your COPR to quit

Anybody applied gcms notes recently? I applied mine on November 19 and still haven't got them, was wondering how long is it taking nowadays?

For your reference, my GCMS note applied on Nov. 6th was generated on Dec. 8th and was sent to me on Dec. 21

How would I know if my medical is extended ? My medical expires in January. I don't know how I would be able to do a new medical especially with the province in a lockdown.

Is their anyone who saw any movement or update on their applications before their biometrics were updated? Will the elieligibility assessment even begin before biometrics?

Hello, My AOR is April 2 under PNP nomination. My GCMS notes shows I am Ready For Visa since October 2 but I keep waiting for PPR just like most of you.
My closed work permit expires Feb 24, 2021 and I think I must renew it now when considering the current processing speed of IRCC.
I was told, since I have already applied for the PR, I can renew my Closed Work Permit with my Acknowledge Of Receipt (AOR) and the Offer of Employer Number. So, I searched the IRCC Website to get relevant information, but it's too complicate and cannot locate any helpful information.
Would any person please help me how to apply for the renew of my closed work permit? Thank you in advance.

Why not BOWP? Close work permit renewal under your circumstance is not as straightforward as BOWP.
