We dont have job offer or under AIPP, we are under PNP, though my wife, who is the principal applicant is a nurse, we are still not exempted because we are still not permanent resident, we still need to land, and we cant because of the after march 18, 2020 rule.

Yes If you would have job offer , you would have been exempted and nurse is essential skill.

Figured we need job offer. But are you sure about AL being not required? I doubt any airline would allow us now that travel restrictions is in place.

I have called airlines and they have not requested any AL.

But there are chances we could be turned away at border?
But if you are nominated by PNP because of job, you have letter of nomination and support letter and in addition to this you have offer letter, letter from employer they are fully operational, I don't think anything else is needed at border.

How about EE and job offer? Would that still apply?

Hi Everyone,

Just want to hear from you guys regarding this dilemna we are currently facing. For those approved COPRs/PRV after March 18, 2020 Rule, how do we handle our expiring COPRs/PRVs since we cannot travel? Is it different from Pre-March 18, 2020, who we are given exemptions and CAN travel to canada anytime as long as they are ready. Now, we, the post-March 18, 2020 COPR holders, can we request for just an extension or wait for the instructions of IRCC and let your COPR expire?

Our status is that our COPR/PRV was approved November 4, 2020 and is valid upto January 23, 2021. Travel restrictions were extended upto January 21, 2021. We already raised a webform requesting for an extension, no reply yet from IRCC.

What to do???

Thank you to who will reply and can help other COPR holders approved after MArch 18, 2020 ruling.
on the same boat, I didn't raise a webform though. My copr/visa are valid till march 10.Should I send a webform? please keep us posted.Good luck!

From asdq45 question was if you have COPR approved post 18th march 2020 and have valid job offer, do we need to obtain AL to travel as could be airline request or CBSA could request.

In my opinion, as you also quoted me a few days back we need only the required document from the employer and skill should be essential, we need don't need AL. Even I have asked Airlines as we are planning to book tickets and they have quoted me they only need 6 months valid passport with visa.
