Anybody else get a ghost update today? My application changed to "application/profile updated" - no change when I clicked in.

Hopefully a good sign?

@legalfalcon IRCC agent says my eligibility status Recommended Pass. It means case analyst accepted all the documents that I have submitted, reviewed and satisfied. For example, Job letters, NOC code etc etc. Or is there any other checks for that. I was worried about the NOC code that I have chosen was thinking Eligibility pass indicates that they are accepted. Please advice.

@legalfalcon May I ask if you have seen any case with "Recommended Pass" status for more than 1.5 months? I called IRCC at the beginning of November and the status was completely not changed in mid December. Or actually it is in RR status? Ordered GCMS notes in early November but still not received yet.

This is normal. Many application re pending and there are rampant delays at IRCC.

Yesterday I found my BOWP application get approved in the portal. However, I didn't receive any email or message from IRCC yet.
AOR = 22nd July, BOWP application = 16th Sep.

Just called ircc today and had a very nice agent, he said eligibility recommend passed, medical passed(Aug 31st), criminality passed (biometric exempted and completed on Oct 22nd, but not update on the cic online account yet). Security has not started. Then I asked him about what does recommend passed mean for eligibility(is it passed by an analyst?) and he said that it was passed by first officer, second officer and the only thing left is security. He also said that security might take a week or two normally. However, it might take extra weeks in the covid environment and he wish me everything can be done within 6 months timeline.

I am just a little bit confused about the terminology of passing for eligibility. Hi @legalfalcon can you comment on this

Hi @legalfalcon, I have 1 question.
Its been a long time since I did not receive any update on my file and now I want to order GCMS notes.
But i am not really sure how to fill consent form correctly. I am the only applicant - CEC Inland.
Am i supposed to fill something in Designated Representative's info or all i have to fill is Applicat's info.
Please answer.

If you re applying for your self, you do not need a consent form. However, if you have family members in your application you will need their consent and the form will have to be signed by them where you will be the Designated Representative

Congratulations!!
@legalfalcon There is something I always asked to myself, but could not find an answer anywhere... When IRCC process a PR application and a SOWP, do they share info between Visa offices? Of course they do process eligibility separately, but do they process criminality, security, medical, independently? Because it makes no sense to me that they check twice even though those parts are identical. Once Criminality is passed in the PR for example, it should be easily passed in the SOWP as well... medical the same. But I see they passed my wife‘s medical in our PR application months ago, but not yet in her SOWP... why so?
