Hi,

Anybody who receieved the COPR before 18th March and expired in June/July 2020 with no reponse or am I the only one?

Raised several RTT forms but generic mails about them being "pleased" to confirm application is in process.

Seeing people with COPR expired in August/ September getting their 4 pointers and/or AL makes me wonder if my case has been missed out
Me too have got only generic responses

My COPR expired in June, but no response, have raised RTT webforms, but generic. Haven’t received 4 pointer email, or remed. Called them and they said action required from your end right now in only raising RTT form, which you have done already, so just wait patiently for your file to get picked up again for extension

This email i have also recd. But ppl are waiting to do remedical letter.. before taking it.Whats your uodate after submitting.
I did my medicals using this email only. At the end of this email, it says submit new information using web form. No update for me after submitting the new e-medical information sheet. Applicants from NDVO received this email only and no other specific re-medical letter. A month back we received this email and did medicals a day after. Till now, no specific letter asking for remedicals has been issued.

Some ppl have got the mail no that they cant be given extension as their medical has expired...I was talking abt that mail..it clearly says they need to do remedical. But what if we do and for some reason they don't require it from us? I asked ircc agent abt this. She said we should wait for the instructions as some times they might extend your medicals. the problem is Sydney vo has not sent a single mail so that we get an idea of the system they follow. May be they give Without remeds..

Received the following email and proceeded with the medicals.

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada in regard to your application for permanent residence (PR).

Based on our assessment of your recent enquiry, we regret to inform you that we cannot process your request to issue a new confirmation of PR document and PR visa at this time; you have not demonstrated that you meet the exemption criteria. As a reminder, the travel restrictions were implemented to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID‑19) in Canada.

The Immigration Medical Exam (IME) results for you or a dependent family member have expired. It is not possible for IRCC to extend the validity of your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CRDP) and Permanent Resident Visa (VRP) when the IME results have expired.

Rest assured that your application will remain open and be put on hold until after the travel restriction pause is lifted or until you demonstrate that you meet the exemption criteria mentioned above. You will have to submit the new information via our webform.

You can find more information on travel restrictions on our website at: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/coronavirus-covid19/travel-restrictions-exemptions.html

Sincerely,

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada

, Well, Here's my question. Why cant we do our remeds up front?. If that is case my COPR expired May 14th, which means my meds expired at the same right?. and i think there are few in the forum who ahve their meds COPR expired in May but received a different format of email asking for Re-meds. And also, their office itself says not to do meds until asked..Why the confusion?

also I am doctor and my friend works for Centre for Migration medicine as a panel physician. He had done mine before. He said he cant do remeds upfront because they cant submit the case without an IME letter.
These are not upfront medicals. NDVO is not issuing IME Letter and just sending out this remeds email which looks like a regret email. The other who do not have NDVO as their VO have received IME letter in their CIC account. Hope this clears the confusion.

If your VO is New Delhi and you want to proactively do the meds then please go ahead and get it done from the hospital which is not asking from IME. The hospital can give you better advise on remeds as I guess they deal with such scenarios on regular bases. Good luck!

Did you also send the medical info sheet using NDVO webform? If not then you could have saved some time in getting the update.
