Hi,

Anybody who receieved the COPR before 18th March and expired in June/July 2020 with no reponse or am I the only one?

Raised several RTT forms but generic mails about them being "pleased" to confirm application is in process.

Seeing people with COPR expired in August/ September getting their 4 pointers and/or AL makes me wonder if my case has been missed out
No your not alone , my copr was also expired in June. And I am still waiting.

, Well, Here's my question. Why cant we do our remeds up front?. If that is case my COPR expired May 14th, which means my meds expired at the same right?. and i think there are few in the forum who ahve their meds COPR expired in May but received a different format of email asking for Re-meds. And also, their office itself says not to do meds until asked..Why the confusion?

also I am doctor and my friend works for Centre for Migration medicine as a panel physician. He had done mine before. He said he cant do remeds upfront because they cant submit the case without an IME letter.
In my case, physician panel asked for my previous UMI number. They might have quoted it while uploading it.

Did you also send the medical info sheet using NDVO webform? If not then you could have saved some time in getting the update.
No, I did not use the NDVO web form. I used the one whose link is given in regret email. After 10 days, sent it again along with emails to RR team and Delhi immigration. Received the generic response for both web forms after 17 days of sent date.

It is clearly mentioned that you need to do remeds.

"Rest assured that your application will remain open and be put on hold until after the travel restriction pause is lifted or until you demonstrate that you meet the exemption criteria mentioned above." The thing that is mentioned above is that your current medicals have expired. See second paragraph in the email.

Please redo your medicals sooner than later and upload the medical infosheet using webform.
Thanks sir , either I attach new police clearance or not with new medical ?

Could you check my case please.

Original COPR issued - 14 March 2020
Expiry - 6 May 2020
Travel plan documents on request for 4point mail submitted - 14 Oct 2020
Request for re-medical from IRCC - 6 Nov 2020
Re-medial submitted - 13 Nov 2020

My original medical got expired on 6 May 2020 and I assume they gave me 6months extension on medicals and asked for re-medical on 6 Nov (exactly 6months) .

I do not know what would be the next step for me. Will it be passport request or authorization letter ?
Please let me know what you think !!
Did u get anything now ?

Received the following email and proceeded with the medicals.

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada in regard to your application for permanent residence (PR).

Based on our assessment of your recent enquiry, we regret to inform you that we cannot process your request to issue a new confirmation of PR document and PR visa at this time; you have not demonstrated that you meet the exemption criteria. As a reminder, the travel restrictions were implemented to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID‑19) in Canada.

The Immigration Medical Exam (IME) results for you or a dependent family member have expired. It is not possible for IRCC to extend the validity of your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CRDP) and Permanent Resident Visa (VRP) when the IME results have expired.

Rest assured that your application will remain open and be put on hold until after the travel restriction pause is lifted or until you demonstrate that you meet the exemption criteria mentioned above. You will have to submit the new information via our webform.

You can find more information on travel restrictions on our website at: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/coronavirus-covid19/travel-restrictions-exemptions.html

Sincerely,

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada

Exactly the same case here. CORP expired July 2020, wonder how they work?
My COPR expired in June 2020 and raised several RTT webforms. Apart from generic replies, for one of the web form, there was a response that your file will be reviewed shortly. Its been a month since then and no response. I am not sure what to do next.

Hi,
We received the mail today (COPR expiry : May 1, 4 pointer : Oct 2). However the mail did not specifically mention 'remedical request', instead it mentioned that our medicals have expired and our application will be on hold till the eligibility is met.
@13nitinsharma : Is this the same mail that you have mentioned or is it a mail specifically instructing to do medicals again ? Thanks is advance
i also received mail on 2 December after submitting four pointer email sent by ircc about my travel plan to Canada but in this mail written it is not possible to validate copr because medical expired. But there is no metion about remedical and submitt again. Whether I do my remedical again and send again ?
