Anyone think that the travel restrictions might be lifted for international travelers on 30 Nov??

And anyone with Post March 18 issued COPR who has travelled (not falling under the exemption categories??

My COPR is to expire mid December 2020.

Hope to get any feedback.

Can anyone tell me which text now app to use to call from india? There are various text now apps on android and the one we downloaded is not connecting the call to ircc any tips provided will be appreciated
Its TextNow app. Currently I am facing issue in assigning any Canadian number to it. US number working fine. For calling to IRCC you need to assign Ontario based number to the app. Search Ontario Area code on google and you will see 3 digit area codes, put any of them on the app and it will show you some free number, pick one and you are ready to go. But few moments back this was not working for me. I will try after sometime. You can give it a shot.

Travel restrictions are unlikely to be lifted 30 Nov or early December.

If you are able to take such a risk - and it is certainly a wild whacky idea - but if you are able to try, just try to fly.

Risks a part of you flight cost perhaps. But other than that you also risk emotional distress of getting refused at the airport.

If you do manage to board then it will be all good. I would have considered this path if it came to that.

Thank you for the reply.

I am prepared to take the risk emotionally I suppose. The risk of getting denied after my arrival to Canada though IF I am allowed to board is what I am thinking about.
Specially that I will be travelling with my wife and one year old baby.
It would be physically stressing and financially since that probably means I will lose all the flight cost.

Even passing all those hurdles what if non exempted person getting denied at port of entry during these days when CoVID cases are rising in Canada? I know one person in this thread who was issued CoPR just a day or two (if I am not wrong) after 18th March 2020 and successfully landed in Canada by making an innocent face while boarding and in front of Immigration officer. According to him everything went smooth after landing but that happened few months back and now not sure how strict the immigration officers regarding the non exempted applicants.

Hey guys how do you retake medicals pro-actively? Aren't you supposed to wait foe IRCC to send you a letter with instructions?

Also, are we supposed to receive an acknowledgement of receipt of some sort after submitting a ready to travel webform?

Thanks
I took my re meds without IRCC’s letter. Did it as soon as everyone got the generic Medicals email. I got my PPR last Saturday (after 2 weeks). Get it done would be my advice
