Processing time for ICT work permit

Hi,
i am new here...just wanted to know if ICT and ICT GSS are 2 diiferent application types. how to find if our application is ICT or ICT GSS. is there an option to upgrade to ICT GSS. i have applied from US on oct 31st,biometric on nov 13th. my H1B is maxing out in march. just trying to assess if i can get through before March deadline..

Duration of passport stamping at the Ottawa office?

Hi, I have submitted my passport for work permit stamping (ICT, approved in October, applied in April) at the Ottawa office, which they received last week.
I am currently residing in the US.
Does anyone know approximately how long do they take to stamp the passport?
My lawyers said due to COVID it could take anywhere between 1 to 2 months.
Does anyone have any idea if it indeed takes that long?
Is there any way to request the Ottawa Case Center to expedite it?

Hello All,

I wanted to know if some one has applied ICT recently from India and has got it approved successfully. I have applied mine on Oct 27th, and have not received any news from my employer. How much time does it take for the approval. Also, the biometric are not opened in India, do we have to travel to the nearing countries to get the biometric done? If some one can shed some light on the ICT approval from India that would be really helpful

My ICT WP was filed from US and now I moved to India as my US visa is maxout, now if I change my address from US to India, will it impact my timelines? as India wait time for approval is more weeks than US?

Anybody whose application was filed in US and moved in India , please share your experience and suggestions.

Hi - has anyone applied under the Global Talent Stream. GTS generally has 2 week processing time but I guess its delayed due to COVID so would like to know whats the current timelines of visa approvals for GTS work permits.

Has anyone submitted a webform for expedite processing along with employer support letter ? R they really considering it ? I have submitted one but I did it before going for biometric...just wondering if I should have submitted it after the biometric... does expedite really work ?

I just received medical request under my ICT application applied on 1st September.

I applied from malaysia but currently I am in dubai, can I do medical in dubai ?

Will it effect on my application if medical is done from other country .

Congrats buddy.. I think you can do the medical as my colleague got his biometric done from Dubai and he had applied from india

Hello All,

Can someone please share as what all steps are present on the application tracking for WP? My company filed my ICT WP and only attorney can track the application , so I am just curious to know as what all different steps it has.
If any filed the WP and can track the application on IRCC then can you please share different steps involved , may be a screenshot from the tracking page.
