Canadian Equivalent work experience

Hi Guys,
I am new in this forum. I have tried my level best to find if the above question is answered but could not find any post in which it is discussed. If you have a link of such a post please feel free to share it.

I have about 8 years of work experience in my home country. Now I have decided to apply for Canadian Immigration. Is there a way to make my 8 year work experience get counted in Canada? I want to apply through Express Entry. If yes, can someone guide me. I have all my experience letters.

Unfortunately, NO. You cant transfer foreign work experience to Canadian work experience. Canadian work experience is counted for the jobs done inside Canada only under NOC 0, A, B for express entry.

To further add to my question, like in Australian immigration system there are bodies like Australian Skill Assessment (ACS) which assess your work skill and confirms if they will be valid in Australia. Don't we have any such body for Canada?

There is nothing like this in Canada. When you apply for Express Entry you will declare this as foreign work experience
