If they got COPR/Visas in June, it could be their visa office is not Nairobi. It could be the office that finalized their application was another and Nairobi only did the visa stamping and COPR issuance. I am not 100% certain when they stopped working on PR applications and when they resumed. I only analyzed the emails they sent me. One in April where they said they are focusing on critical functions (whatever that actually means) and another in September where they said they are working on applications but with reduced staff.

I don't have a UCI but, I do have a temporary number from immigration and will check ecas once in awhile. Hopefully it will be soon, Ethiopia is becoming more unstable by the day and increasingly concerning.

Yes, the country has become unstable. Is there any way to have applications expedited because of the deteriorating situation in Ethiopia?

Big congrats! Out of curiosity, how long did it take for passport to go from Addis to Nairobi and back? Looks like about 2 weeks? I really am having a tough time with this last little part of waiting!

They will send you email updates and send you message through Gc account it will take 3 weeks because of covid 19[/QUOTE]
