Just got an e-mail from CIC.CPCMississaugaDoNotReply-CTDMississaugaNePasRepondre.CIC . In email PDF it says "
You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. The Application for Permanent Residence
(APR) for your relative will be processed separately and they will be contacted shortly.
"
So this is SA?
After this when i can expect AIP ?
and in GIC changed to "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements."

Application received Dec 11
Biometerics done on 28th oct.
Have you received AIP? We got SA last week and still have not received AIP so we are getting worried.

Did anyone get approved yet who received a request for biometrics but still hasn't gotten a phone call to get them done? Its been a month waiting for them to call me in Manitoba and still nothing. We went back on Code Red lockdown today, in afraid they will never schedule me to get it done.

I have been waiting since Sept 18 to get a phone call about setting up a Biometrics appointment. I have called Service Canada a couple of times and they are no help since apparently they don't even have contact info for the group responsible for making these phone calls. Not sure why they are doing this with a phone call and not email, what if I miss the call(s)?? How many times will they try to call again?? I'm getting frustrated as I'm a December 9 applicant and am seeing that they've already called quite a few applicants received after Dec 9.

I'm just praying that we will get it done and this will be over soon. The stress is killing me.

(December 9, 2019 applicant) I just received a letter saying that I meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residency, although with the caveat "Please note that a final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements for becoming a permanent resident have been met". I'm still waiting for the phone call to set up my biometrics appointment, so I'm assuming that is one of those outstanding requirements...a good sign nonetheless.

I am so happy for you. All last night I had an Application/profile updated but couldn't get on. When I finally did nothing has changed. So I dont know. :/

Whenever I've seen that "Application/profile updated", shortly after they send me something, you might be getting your AIP letter soon!

I've also had Application/profile updated yesterday but nothing changed, it went back to Submitted. Still waiting for the Biometrics call, BIL received in July... I'm in Toronto, I guess there are no many available appointments here

Dang, that's crazy. Im sure there is a bit of people. Here in Manitoba though, there's a million people total. Not sure what the hold up is. Scared though, what of they deny me because I haven't got biometrics yet? So stressed out, still praying for us all.

They have said to me, both on the phone and in email, that you will not be rejected if you can't get an appointment in time because the backlogs are due to the virus and not through any fault of our own. It might just take a bit longer than expected, but don't worry, you will not be denied because of that.
