my application was applied from India and in September I moved to US.
I have updated IRCC about my address change.
will IRCC ask me to submit a new PCC for my stay in india?
Most likely not. When you submit your application, only then the PCCs have to be valid. They should meet the following:

  • For the applicant’s current country of residence, the police certificate must have been issued no more than 6 months before the submission of the e-APR.
  • For countries in which the applicant no longer resides, the police certificate must have been issued after the last time the applicant stayed in that country for 6 months or more in a row.
  • Police certificates meeting the above requirements can be accepted even if they have an expiry date that has passed.
  • This includes the requirement to provide a police certificate for countries in which the individual has travelled for 6 months or more in a row, whether or not the individual had an established residential address during this time.
  • Police certificates are required upfront and are mandatory for each country (except Canada) where an individual has spent 6 months or more in a row within the last 10 years. The individual does not need to provide one for any period of time before the age of 18
However, IRCC can seek additional documents in some rare cases. But for most a change in country of residence does not trigger a PCC. However, IRCC may ask you for a US FBI PCC. Unless, you get a request, there is no need to be concerned.

I feel like only Nov 2019 aor is taking this long. even Dec 2019 AOrs are getting PPR. Only few remaining before Nov 2019. People are waiting and there comes new draws. I feel exhausted of waiting. I started wondering if there’s something wrong with my application?
I agree with you. I also think it's intentional. They are ghosting us because they don't have any nice things to say except "we plan to hold your application for as long as possible until we can find a reason to rescind our decision and refuse you". They have power to refuse all applications after certain date. They just haven't done it (yet). They cannot tell the truth because 1) they need more application fees from new draws 2) it is just not polite to do so, as 'welcoming Canadians'.

It is especially the case for English speaking, high achieving outland FSW applicants without a job offer, or anyone from the US. Approving these people means taking the finite number of very good jobs away from Canadians. IRCC agents are not fired and they have laptops. They have enough workforce to process November applications, even with the lockdown. It's just that the job market can't afford FSW applicants anymore. They are not responsible for screwing over PR applicants' lives, because pr applicants technically have nothing to do with them except for the wishful thinking that the applications may go through. They will screw people over, just because they can.

Totally agree with you. Pandemic or not, it's higly doubtful that a person can't process simple documents from home in such day and age of technology where literally almost everything can be done virtually. It's their excuse to grab money from applicants, exhaust their resources (knowing well lots of people don't have jobs due to covid) and then refusing due to incompetence from their end.
And they are open for gf bf to reunite. Job, money, stress all comes after romantic relationship. Woww ! Sorry for being harsh here, I understand they are equally important but when we say Equally, I mean Equally but not special and more important than family who is struggling without job house and money.

1/2 Hi. An exclusive dating relationship means you’re in a romantic relationship with a Canadian citizen, person registered under Canada’s Indian Act or permanent resident, have been in the relationship for at least 1 year and have spent time...

Yes. It is not right. I don't know how many Nov 2019 applicants are still waiting. I would guess a couple thousand "Final:approved" applications.

There is no point to dwell on this because that's the way they manipulate your psychology. It is no different if they simply ask you to roll a dice without a 3 and say if it comes out 3 your application gets finalized. They are the ones making rules just to abuse you. On the upside, although you always lose, they will have to introduce another game if the majority of people stop giving them any legitimacy.

I think a little clarity on what the plan is will help everybody. At this time, people are just waiting for things to happen without having any knowledge about their plans.

If the plan is to not finalize applications for next 3 months, they can let us know.
If the plan is to start processing once vaccine is found or when internal COVID cases drop below a number, they can let us know.

That way we'll know when to expect and when not to.

Right now its just a never ending wait. People login to their accounts everyday expecting some update and its been the same story for last 7-8 months. There is no communication on what to expect and when.

Exactly, I can and want to apply for an exemption to visit my bf in France but just because who knows when will they send out PPRs and I prob will miss it if I'm not home so I have been waiting for like forever just to get the golden email so then I can plan my life accordingly. So frustrating, the level of anxiety is also piling up. AOR NOV here too, PNP, Final Approved :(

In my GCMS notes, the final decision is approved, there is also a counterfoil number already but under COPR section, it says:
Has ever been charged/convicted of a crime or offence or refused admission to Canada?:
Has any DEPs other than those listed on this App?
Surveillance Code: 1
Loan Warrant #:
Transportation #:
User Remarks: CB-OVS

Does it the same for you guys too? @legalfalcon if you can comment on it, please? Thanks

Hi @legalfalcon, can you comment on it please?
The question you see is listed on the COPR and everyone will have it. Surveillance Code: 1 means that no medical surveillance required. Everything seems to be in order.

This is how a COPR looks like.

How does one know that file is transferred from VO Ottawa to NDVO?
