I am an electrical engineer graduate from a university in Canada that is looking into obtaining my electrician license! I looked online for what i need to be doing but things were not clear! My question is: Will i be able to just take the red seal electrician exam to have the my electrician license? Or do i need to do more than that as an electrical engineer?!
 
And is this across all provinces or only alberta! Because some online websites says different things about it for here in Ontario

The red seal has a construction electrician section what is the difference between an electrician and a construction electrician?

You probably want to obtain your professional engineering designation. That designation will allow you to practise as an electrical engineer. The electrician license
is not applicable to engineers, only to skilled tradespeople.
