Hi all,

Just an update to my application. I just received a message asking me to re-take the medical exam. I’ve also read in other threads that there’re people being asked to so. I guess that’s probably required for us long AOR (May 2019, EE Outland) but no PPR applicants. To be positive, does that mean they’ve restarted to process or applications??

Yours,
Rob Kao

Hi Rob,

Re-medicals is a good sign. They have started giving PPR to people living in counties where VFS are open. Can you please share the status of your application before receiving the re-medical request and from which country you have applied and VO?

Thanks,

If that true ,why my application since September 2019 still the same :
  • The responsible office is currently verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirementsunder the immigration program for which you have applied,
    • you may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed.
· The security background verification has not been initiated.

· The criminal background verification is currently valid.
My AOR 15 May 2019 , VO Ottawa , ordered GCMS notes 2 times 1st one received in JAN 2020 2nd one in April 2020 with the same status
called call center 20+ times there is no SS or even RR , I know the current situation of the Corona virus and they cannot issue the visas right now but they are not give me any reason for this delay there are many applications submitted after May 2019 they got at least the decision or they have passed every thing and waiting for COPR or the PR email but why my application in this situation I don't know
Hi,

What’s the eligibility status in your gcms notes?

Hi @Ade3l ,

is your security started now?
Hi Dhashmeet,

Nothing so far. I've requested another set of GCMS notes a week ago. I did however, received a Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) request yesterday from IRCC. Would any of the learned members be able you guide me as to why this information is required again? Is there any catch to it? @caipsnotes?

Thank you in advance :)

Hi, it's common for applicants to receive a request for IMM5669 Schedule A Background/Declaration form at Criminality checks stage to ensure that there are no gaps in their personal history. Moreover IRCC can request any information at any time during the process, there is no catch to it.

Hey @caipsnotes

I have one more question. Back in 2014 I was in the UK and applied for an extension to my visa which was refused. I was denied a right to appeal so I filed a judicial review against the decision which took about a year to conclude. This was also not in my favour so I left voluntarily. I did disclose this at the time of submitting my application to IRCC.

My question is, would I need to tick only Section 6(d) which deals with visa refusals? or both 6(d) and 6(e) (i.e. refused admission/ordered to leave) as mentioned on the IMM5669 Schedule A Background/Declaration form?

Thank you in advance :)

Hello. If the visa/extension was refused then you would answer yes. If you weren't ordered removed/deported then your answer will be no.

hello @legalfalcon. I requested for GCMS notes and there was a statement that goes "UNABLE TO VERIFY CANADIAN INSTITUTION, REVIEW REQUIRE" What does this mean?

I completed a degree from a private school in Canada. What document should I provide? When I submitted our application in May, I included my diploma and transcripts.
AOR June 2020
Hi,I also applied for gcms notes I am worried that I got the same statement""UNABLE TO VERIFY CANADIAN INSTITUTION, REVIEW REQUIRED". So I have few questions for you,if you could answer I would appreciate it.
1) I also studied from private college in Vancouver which is not eligible for PGWP(but it's on DLI list) ,but luckily I found the employer that helped me to get LMIA work permit. So I am wondering what education document did you submit after you received your gcms notes?
2) What school did you attend?
3) Did you get points for your education?
Thanks

Hi guys,

I'm a AOR: 9-May-2019 inland candidate. My file was transferred to NDVO in Aug-2019.
And no update after that.
Profile shows - Reviewing Eligibility since Aug-19.
Ordered ATIP in Feb-20 - it says : Interview Requested
But no call or interview since then.

Anyone else in the same boat?

Any idea where the file might be stuck?
