LMIA is a close work permit. According to me you can’t work for any other employee until u get your PR. However, you can change your close work permit into open work permit under some circumstances. You can get more info on CIC website or you can give them a call.

How do you know that it got taken away ? Did they call you ? Moreover, they should have asked for your passport if u were outside coz lot of applicants are getting passport request ?
The PR letter had a statement saying if you are Outside Canada get in touch with an email address " landing enquires". They wrote back to me stating I have to inform when i am back and they will reissue. For now they are putting me back on TRV status. And no ask for passport. Just photos and sending a copy of letter to the address they mentioned. I am so confused :(

Ours is not closed work permit. We have an open work permit, we got the 50 points for LMIA

Hi All,

I am a PNP Outland (Country of Residence - India) candidate and I received my GCMS notes today.

Eligibility: Passed
Security:
Criminality: Passed
Medical: Passed
Info Sharing: Complete
later under notes section: Officer Review - Recommendation is Eligibility and admissibility passed. Ready for review and issuance

I could not find COVID PACE mentioned anywhere on my notes. I wanted to confirm that the only next step for me is waiting for communication from IRCC?

If you have the officer note which has marked your eligibility as passed, you are in almost there. Not all GCMS notes will have a COVID Pace group.

Also, if your security is blank and you will see s15 or 21 on the top right corner of the page, your security is in progress or may have been even passed.

See my old post on this #2,521

To read on security see https://bit.ly/3jnY5Cg

Just wait for a final decision from IRCC, which should be soon.

All the best!

Your application is in good shape and you are almost there. COVID PACE is not something that every applicant will have in their Gcms Notes. Security is not always redacted even when in progress but the outcome is always. All the best

I've just checked my profile and it was "updated". However, there was nothing new inside, the same medical exam date, the same biometrics and everything. I have no idea what really happened. I've even checked my entire mailbox in hope of seeing a miracle PPR, but nope. :)

@legalfalcon and everyone,
Just mailed my passport to Ottawa for PR Visa and super excited now :D. I am starting to plan the process of uprooting my life from New York and go to get settled in Canada. Can anyone please share their experience of moving from USA to Canada in recent months? Any tips about bringing belongings to Canada and Customs process would be super helpful. Could anyone please let me know how I can export my vehicle from USA to Canada, what paperwork is needed and best place to get the paperwork? Any additional input is very much appreciated. I am also doing my homework at the same time.
Thanks a bunch!
Congratulations and good to know, NS, Sydney has started issuing PPR's. Getting onto Feb applicants may still take time though :-(

Anyways, please share your experience of moving to Canada from US. I am a US based applicant and awaiting PPR since last 9 months. My AOR is 16 Feb O- PNP. I have same questions regarding exporting my vehicle from US to Canada/ other belongings which may have to be claimed at customs.

Thanks

Hi All,
I was on this forum for many months, but always as a reader. Just half an hour ago I received a golden email asking to submit my passport for the visa.
My details as follow:
FSW-O;
AOR-10 dec 2019;
I don't know my details on the intake office as I never ordered GCMS. I need to submit my passports to Abu Dhabi visa office.
I wish you all to receive a golden email and all the following process to be smooth.
God bless you all...
